Having recently finished a postgraduate programme from the University of the West of
England, I am currently looking for career opportunities in administrative/human resources.

Primarily positioned in the front of house with experience in the middle of
house when required.
• Front of house: Taking orders, receiving payment and preparing meals
and drinks. Responsible for cashing up and financial security procedures
as well as customer services and managing complaints.
• Middle of house: making side orders, burgers or responsible for the fries
station
Secondary task: Involved controlling stock inventories and keeping the
restaurant clean throughout opening hours.
SKILLS PROFILE
Team Work: Strong team-building skills have been developed through working in group and
team presentations at University. At work, team spirit was demonstrated by willingness to
work extra hours to cover colleagues’ sick leave and by adapting a ‘can-do’ attitude in the
face of stressful peak season demands.
Communication and Presentation: An effective and confident communicator and
presenter. Regular design and delivery of PowerPoint presentations to large audiences of
lecturers and student peers. Both verbal and listening skills have been enhanced through
communicating with all levels of seniority at work, from managers to production line workers.
Confident in dealing effectively with persons of different age groups and backgrounds.
Commercial Awareness: Possessing a good understanding of what it takes to be an
effective sales person. Regularly meeting and exceeding sales targets and awarded
employee of the month in my second working month.
Organisation and Flexibility: Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation have been
explored and improved throughout the time I spent living and studying in the UK. Effective
management of time for social activities and part-time work whilst still meeting all
coursework deadlines. Ability to adapt and integrate into different cultures was achieved by
quickly learned to cope positively with new living environment and local British dialects.
IT and Technical Skills: Frequent user of Microsoft Offices packages including Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Mailbox. Confident user of both Mac and Windows operating
system.
