Task 1: Import requirements that were captured in an external CSV document
In this task, you import several feature requirements that were captured in a comma-separated values (CSV) file.
You import the requirements into the Features folder in the JKE Business Recovery Matters project.
1. In the lab environment, form the All Projects page (https://jazz-server:9443/rm/web), in the My Projects
section, click the The JKE (Requirements Management) project Show Artifacts option.
2. In Windows® Explorer, go to the Requirements folder in the Desktop directory; then open the
new_mobile_devices.csv file and review the contents.

The contents are the three new feature requirements to add to the JKE Business Recovery Matters Project.
TIP: A CSV file can be opened with Notepad, but it is best viewed when opened with a spreadsheet
program.
3. Close the new_mobile_devices.csv file.
4. Back at the requirements management application, All Artifacts page, from the Artifacts menu, click Import.

5. In the Import wizard, select Import requirements from a CSV file and click Next.
6. Click Browse, go to the Requirements folder in the Desktop directory, and select the
new_mobile_devices.csv file.
7. Since these are only three requirements, we will not import them into a module. Specify the location for the
new requirements to be the JKE Business Recovery Matters ProjectFeatures folder and then click Finish.

8. Go to the JKE Business Recovery Matters ProjectFeatures folder.
The three new feature artifacts are in the Features folder. When you select the Features folder, the artifacts are
displayed in the artifacts list. If you do not see the artifacts, click Refresh. You may also click on the Highlight
Recently modified artifacts button , and the artifacts will be shaded and easier to identify.
9. Open the new Mobile Device Support – Android artifact. In the Artifact editor, notice how the data from the
spreadsheet was imported into this new feature artifact.

10. Return to the project Artifacts page.
