This document provides instructions for designing a magazine advertisement layout and digipak packaging for a song or album. The magazine ad layout should include the title, artist, main image, secondary images, tagline, release date, record label logos, and where the song can be purchased or toured dates. The digipak design should include creating a front cover, back cover, inside sleeve, and CD panel with elements like the title, artist, main image, barcode, copyright, tracklist, and note from the artist.

1. Magazine Advert Layout – use this
entire page to place the conventions to
show how your magazine advert will
be designed.
Remember to include the title of the song/album, the
artists name, the main image, any secondary images,
the tagline, the release date, record label logos, where
the song/album will be available from, tour dates…

2. Digipak Template – use the space
below FOUR TIMES to design the
entirety of your digipak (you will need
to design a front cover, a back cover,
an inside sleeve and the CD panel.)
Don’t forget to include the title of the Single/Album/EP, the
artist’s name, the main image, any secondary images, a
barcode, the copyright information (on back panel), a letter
of thanks or lyrics to a song, a track list (on the back panel)
