• Experience: most of the positions require at least 2-3 years of experience

• Most written communication in Israel Tech happens in English (except some
governmental, financial and insurance companies).
• Lack of fluent written English communication is a big No Go
• Most of team meetings / morning stand-ups happen in Hebrew
• Lack of Basic Hebrew will make it difficult to integrate in the team routines and socialize.
• Some teams are willing to temporarily switch to English to help the new team member,
but they’ll expect quick ramp up of your Hebrew skills
• Improve your English and learn Hebrew. It will expand your job opportunities.

general description, period of time, and main technologies you used

• Most of the hiring processes include several interviews (often by different persons in the
company): Introduction, Theoretical + Practical Professional topics, Team fit assessment,
Organizational fit assessment
• Make sure to ask in advance regarding the agenda and length of the interview to be
prepared.

• You will often asked to provide 2-3 recommendations from your previous jobs
• Most of the companies won’t reach to references outside of Israel, so try to find
references in Israel: internship, freelance projects, mentors, workshops
