2. My brief overview
• I come from a diverse cultural background, visible minor, having origins in East India
• I have served the IT industry for about two decades in various capacities and roles.
• In my career, I played key roles of an Aeronautical Engineer, IT Specialist & Enterprise
Architect
• I have lead a team of Project Managers for contract- bidding and deals management
• Currently I am building my startup & have designing solutions for a wide range of
disruptive technologies like AI / ML, Cloud, Big data, IoT and Industrial automation
• I have drafted close to 100 company related documents for 7 key programs for new age
digital platform
• I am a Professional Engineer and have been a member of Engineers Australia since year
2009

3. My initial career
• I started my career journey as an Apprenticeship Trainee in an Engineering public sector-
Indian Telephone Industry (ITI), way back in year 1995 after my graduation in Electronics
and Communication Engineering.
• During training in R&D center, I assisted engineers in the design of SCADA equipment for
the first Indian metro railway.
• I designed Control room graphics, related electrical circuitry, telemetry devices for
monitoring of electric power supply to electrical engine, coaches’ utilities like fans, lamps,
and real time fault corrections using software (Unix/C based ) control, dispatch and
allocation of alternative power supply to the failed devices
• Soon after my training ,I got an opportunity to work with one of the R&D project of national
importance and this time it was for prototype of advanced light combat aircraft.
• As an Aeronautical Engineer I designed the engineering test rig for avionic equipments
clearance. I designed GUI and real time data processing for avionic parameters using MIL-
STD 1553B protocol for analysis, fault detection and reporting that enabled approvals and
design change requests for uncompromised quality

4. My mid-career
• Later on in year 2000, the Y2K bug offered me an opportunity to explore my career in the IT
industry.
• I was offered a job in Tech Mahindra (formerly known as Satyam Computers) as Systems
Analyst.
• I designed and developed several projects in C++/.NET/C# for Windows OS. Few of these
are clinical trial management system, Robotic automation system, and healthcare systems.
• In year 2003, I joined Wipro, Bangalore and served at their London, UK office for clients in
Pharmaceutical / manufacturing and financial industry.
• I developed .NET / C# based applications for a banking application IFX parser for legacy
formats like MT94.
• I also developed applications using MS full stack like BizTalk, WCF, WPF, Smart clients and
Silverlight

5. My mid-career
• In year 2007, I joined Mphasis, an HP company and was responsible for architecting and
managing a portfolio related to enterprise solutions using EDS, HP and Mphasis products
and service offerings.
• I delivered 20 major solutions amounting to about $100 million sales to the company.
• I designed an AI based intelligent management system that used Apache NoSQL,
Cassandra, Mesos and Hadoop for managing big data. MIS reports included associations
diagrams that held identify and reduce theft across state borders
• Due to legal requirements, I had to get all my original records verified by Ministry of
External Affairs, India that helped me apply for International visas

6. My Master’s degrees
• From 2005 to 2007, I took my PGDIT with 18 courses in IT Management from Symbiosis,
Pune with A+ grade
• In year 2009, I took a break and joined M.Tech course with AI major that allowed me to
enrich my skills to the latest technologies.
• I studied on a full time basis and completed 10 advanced courses along with major in AI
• I graduated in 2012 after successfully submitting my AI thesis: “Deriving project values of
Multi Agent systems” with A+ grade
• I gained immense insights into the design of large scale IT systems, hyper scale cloud
structures and related technologies like DWDM, OFDM, ATM, ZigBee and other data center
and telecom cellular protocols.

7. As a legal Canadian migrant
• Along with my course I had applied for my resident visa to Canada and I received the same
in about a year’s time.
• I migrated to Canada in year Feb 2012 and completed the post landing formalities like
obtaining SIN, Health card, Bank account and attending Government sponsored trainings.
• During my free time I used to apply for jobs and would occasionally get an opportunity to
attend interviews that mainly were of developer roles.
• I got opportunities to serve small firms and academic students. I mentored MS students in
their AI / cloud courses, taught languages like Python and C#. I returned to India in 2013
and have been working on my startup and innovative ideas since then.

8. My current startup activities
• Currently I am actively working with the progression of my startup, designing solutions
and company documents for getting into international market and possibly partnering with
startups in Canada.
• I have several innovative ideas and one such idea is “Solution Café” that helps vendors to
offer their solutions and service providers /job consultants to offer their skills and deliver
unique solutions in a co-working environment.
• I will be part of the team offering my unique and innovative solutions and help investors in
taking up franchise of this model.
• I initially plan to register my company in Canada that allows me to gain confidence of my
clients
• I have several research-oriented projects that I have detailed in my paper, links available in
reference section of this presentation
• I have plans to take up accelerator programs in Canada; few I know about MaRS, and other
authorized parties who can sponsor visa

9. My current startup activities
• My areas of focus are use of technologies like AI / ML for better productivity, preventing
theft / loss, automation, identify early warnings, assisting human intelligence when required
to provide them the best intelligence in taking the right decision.
• My areas of work are oriented towards business analysis, design of solutions for migration,
transformation to a digital platform, assist in adopting AI and integration with service
providers and AI algorithms from vendors like Apache, Amazon and MS Azure.
• I work across different layers and business aspects from business strategy right into coding
(wherever possible). I see myself as a responsible person and can help startups with my
immense knowledge, marketing skills, and international exposure in making best use of
their resources, ideas and work on profitable offerings.
• I have a company working folder with files that is now 500MB. I can share my study and
help startups and investors to gain confidence in me.

• I have lived and worked in London, Sydney and Toronto. I have earlier held resident status
of Australia and Canada and have been to US on business trip.
• Working with diverse clients from different geographies, I find it easy to work with people
from different languages, accents and cultures.
• Most of my clients are from Western world and from developed nations mainly speaking
English. I did work with Japanese clients for two projects and have basic knowledge of
French and Japanese key words.
• In Toronto, I attended the Integrated Work experience strategy program (IWES) sponsored
by ICT Council of Canada. I also took active participation in Entrepreneurship 101 sessions
at MaRS Discovery District in year 2012.
• Most of my academics are recognized by International agencies and my credentials can be
easily transferred to suitable institute or employer

• I have earlier passed English tests – TOEFL-iBT (96/120), IELTS –General ( 6.5 ) and
Canadian Language Bench mark test (Level 7)
• I plan to apply for Chartered Engineer status that will allow me to apply for International
Professional Engineer registry – allowing to practice engineering in many countries
• I have mentored BS / MS students from US and EU and aware of the quality standards and
grading system.
• I have friends from Toronto, Dubai and Ireland who are keen to be part of my startup

12. How can I contribute
• I fall under NOC 0213 category (Computer and information systems managers) and my
resident visa was assessed under Federal skilled worker class.
• I hold my Engineering license issued by Engineers Australia and will apply for International
Professional Engineers via the Chartered member route. This is recognized under mutual
agreement between Canada and Australia.
• Moreover I have my own innovative ideas and can be part of a startup wherein I can offer
my skills to the accelerator programs and bringing up the proof of concepts, design and
setup of the prototype machines, engineering layouts etc
• I have wide range of knowledge and certifications and regularly attend trainings, and have
till now course certifications of about 100 courses.
• I am also good at mentoring and have taught at BS / MS level for US and EU students in
areas of Thesis writing, AI, Cloud, and programming languages like C++ and Python.
• I can take up research work related to AI in an accredited university

• I have written several papers and technical documents, key one being my M.Tech thesis:
“Deriving project values of Multiagent systems”, and my engineering project: “Digital
Energy Meter”.
• I actively contribute to the internet and an active member at LinkedIn. I regularly post
information about technical advancements and product releases related to AI /ML and cloud
technologies.
• Backed by my 20 years in serving the IT industry, I can offer my best of services and can
share my experience, skills and help young Canadians to mature in the areas of IT.
• I make an unique person and have academic skills , technical skills, professional skills,
managerial skills and entrepreneur skills
• As I have lived in Canada, have good relations and ties with Canadians, I feel there it will
not take much time to adjust to the local norms that many new comers face as a challenge

14. How can I contribute
• Research hypothesis: Premise
• Our world is an imperfect place with lots of imbalances that lead to disparity in demand-
supply and non-replenishment/re-cycling of the paper called “money” that is supposed to
have been used for bonafide purposes, moving from one hand to another on a lease basis
that has been authorized by the Govt in assumption that every piece might bring in good
returns and allow them to use materials/ goods and services in abundance to fulfill the
insatiable desires of human living. Govt has assumed that merit is the only factor that rules
the companies and countries that help it to see more return on investment of the initial
corpus provided for human consumption that will reduce debt and increase GDP.
• Research hypothesis: Proposal
• Most of the above premises that every Govt has made has lead it to disaster and we are
living in the age of debts. Most probably we will need at least one more decade to correct
and resume normal worldly operations. My hypothesis will try to provide a small set of
proofs and propose an AI / ML solution with a proof of concept to support this . My
solution will try to identify the probable issues(corruption, bias, non-merit), associations
among humans within a similar/ dissimilar sets (corporate, institutes) using deep learning
and help Govt to resolve issues / human anomalies in many walks of life from hiring to
firing. This can lead to significant improvement, acceleration towards desired goals and
improved GDP and economy.

• Sponsor can help me in offering me a temporary job that can later on lead to a permanent
offer.
• Help me register and establish a company with a local partner
• Offer an intra-company transfer option if applicable
• Help me use the best options that will enable proper documentation, legal support and visa
related services
• It can also suggest me in other areas of relocation, and settling down that will ensure the
end client will be able to make best use of my skills.
• I can pay for the services based on a mutually agreed upon term, post relocating.
