1) An IIoT audit is the first step in developing a customized IIoT solution for a manufacturing company. It involves understanding the company's business goals, current processes and equipment, and technical requirements.
2) The audit lays the foundation for an IIoT system by mapping business problems to technical solutions and creating a basic system architecture. It ensures the eventual IIoT solution will meet the company's strategic goals.
3) Conducting an IIoT audit is necessary because every company has unique challenges and characteristics that must be understood before implementing a customized IIoT solution. It establishes a strong foundation and roadmap for a scalable, interoperable solution.

Reshaping Business Through IoT: Key Technology Factors to ConsiderEurotech
Ā
The IoT is the manifestation that the raw material of the information age is datum. Data are the new source of innovation and the lever to achieve business sustainability. By extracting data from assets and products, companies can become more efficient through a strategic rethinking of their value chains and business processes. In so doing, companies will add the required readiness to shift from products to services, and eventually enter in the outcome economy. To truly embrace the digital transformation, organizations need to collect actionable data from their assets, processes, and products and then connect the OT (Operational Technology) world where data are generated to IT (Information Technology) world where data are consumed. Beside predictive maintenance and asset usage maximization/optimization the benefits are huge: the transformation of any business into a smart business, increasing competitiveness also in mature markets; the creation of new innovative products and services; and the enablement of service prosumerization.
To make this happen there are some key technology factors to consider during the implementation of an IoT architecture.

IIoT Endpoint Security ā The Model in Practiceteam-WIBU
Ā
What is your first line of defense against cyberattacks? Secure endpoints! Endpoints are everywhere in the IIoT landscape. Without proper security, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems are not trustworthy, putting organizations, their missions and the greater public at increased risk. The viability of the IIoT depends on proper implementation of security to counter the growing and ever changing threats that are emerging.
Addressing this challenge is critical to the success of the Industrial IoT, Industrie 4.0 and the Industrial Internet revolution. To that end, Industrial Internet Consortium members have developed a common security framework and an approach to assess cybersecurity in Industrial Internet of Things systems: The Industrial Internet Security Framework (IISF).

Initech's organizational messenger solution
I am sure that you have heard about the internal organization communication revolution brought on by Slack.
It allowed employees to communicate and share information in the same way as they interact with their friends on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
Since then Facebook, Microsoft, and Google have entered this area during the last year, and it's become really hot.
But what about organizations that cannot work with an external messenger that is hosted in the cloud?
Banks and other regulated financial institutions, governmental agencies, public and private healthcare institutions, cyber and homeland security firms: all need an on-premises solution that could operate on their servers behind organizational firewalls and comply with strict internal data protection policies.
We developed an internal organizational messenger to address just that kind of challenges.
Our smart solution enables workflow automation and connection to external communication channels (Facebook Messenger, Site, CRM), employing AI-driven chatbots and much more!
Let's supercharge your organization's internal communication with your private WhatsApp!

Dive into the realm of operating systems (OS) with Pravash Chandra Das, a seasoned Digital Forensic Analyst, as your guide. š This comprehensive presentation illuminates the core concepts, types, and evolution of OS, essential for understanding modern computing landscapes.
Beginning with the foundational definition, Das clarifies the pivotal role of OS as system software orchestrating hardware resources, software applications, and user interactions. Through succinct descriptions, he delineates the diverse types of OS, from single-user, single-task environments like early MS-DOS iterations, to multi-user, multi-tasking systems exemplified by modern Linux distributions.
Crucial components like the kernel and shell are dissected, highlighting their indispensable functions in resource management and user interface interaction. Das elucidates how the kernel acts as the central nervous system, orchestrating process scheduling, memory allocation, and device management. Meanwhile, the shell serves as the gateway for user commands, bridging the gap between human input and machine execution. š»
The narrative then shifts to a captivating exploration of prominent desktop OSs, Windows, macOS, and Linux. Windows, with its globally ubiquitous presence and user-friendly interface, emerges as a cornerstone in personal computing history. macOS, lauded for its sleek design and seamless integration with Apple's ecosystem, stands as a beacon of stability and creativity. Linux, an open-source marvel, offers unparalleled flexibility and security, revolutionizing the computing landscape. š„ļø
Moving to the realm of mobile devices, Das unravels the dominance of Android and iOS. Android's open-source ethos fosters a vibrant ecosystem of customization and innovation, while iOS boasts a seamless user experience and robust security infrastructure. Meanwhile, discontinued platforms like Symbian and Palm OS evoke nostalgia for their pioneering roles in the smartphone revolution.
The journey concludes with a reflection on the ever-evolving landscape of OS, underscored by the emergence of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and the persistent quest for innovation and efficiency. As technology continues to shape our world, understanding the foundations and evolution of operating systems remains paramount. Join Pravash Chandra Das on this illuminating journey through the heart of computing. š
