Caroline Powell
South Africa
Caroline is with The Warehouse Trust in Cape Town, an organization that walks with
churches as they seek the peace and justice of God in their contexts. She is passionate
about the role that churches in South Africa can play in imagining and co-creating a more
just and equal society, which she does by engaging in research, teaching contextual bible
studies and journeying with church leaders, especially young leaders who influence the
church and society. She has engaged in masters research into the role that the South
African church plays in the story of land (in)justice in our context and is hopeful about the
future role churches can play in urban land justice.
