This document outlines a rubric for evaluating lab reports with criteria in 5 areas: introduction, hypothesis, materials and methods, data, and conclusion. Each area is scored on a scale from 0-4, with clear expectations defined for a score of 4 (excellent), 3 (good), 2 (satisfactory), 1 (needs improvement), and 0 (unacceptable). The highest scores are achieved when all relevant information is provided, cited properly, and clearly presented.
