KTM is an Austrian motorcycle and sports car manufacturer founded in 1934. It is headquartered in Mattighofen, Austria and has a global presence. In 1953, the company was renamed Kronreif & Trunkenpolz Mattighofen and began serial production of motorcycles. In 1988, KTM North America was established. Today, KTM has over 2,900 employees and annual revenue over €1 billion. It produces motorcycles under the KTM and Husqvarna brands, as well as the KTM X-Bow sports car. In India, KTM has seen success with its Duke series of bikes launched in 2012 in partnership with Bajaj Auto.
