This document summarizes two knowledge exchange nodes in public health: the Virtual Campus of Public Health of the Americas (CVSP) and the Bank of Good Teaching Practices in Public Health (BPD). The CVSP aims to create, share, and develop knowledge in public health teaching and learning across country nodes through open courses, repositories of resources, and tools that incorporate Web 2.0 features. The BPD is a common platform for institutions to exchange best practices in public health teaching and learning through a bank of successful experiences and a bibliographic database on evidence-based methodologies. Both networks aim to improve public health education worldwide through collaborative sharing of knowledge and innovative use of new technologies.
