AIM: cutting a metal sheets dry using parametric powered sharing machine
ABSTRACT:
This machine is for sheet metal industry and can be made into multiple machines and
should be used as circle cutting cum straight cutting machine .The machine is simple to maintain
easy to operate. Hence we tried out hands on Pneumatic Shearing.
Machine In shearing operation as the punch descends upon the metal, the pressure exerted by the
punch first cause the plastic deformation of the metal. Since the clearance between the punch
and the die is very small.

DESCRIPTION
Air compressor is a device that converts power (usually from an electric motor, a diesel
engine or a gasoline engine) into potential energy by forcing air into a smaller volume and thus
increasing its pressure. The energy in the compressed air can be stored while the air remains
pressurized. The energy can be used for a variety of applications, usually by utilizing the kinetic
energy of the air as it is depressurization.
ADVANTAGES :
1.) Comparatively old version less human power is used, and more length upto 3mm-AL
We can cut by using ABOVE PARAMETERS.
2.) We can use in college labs.

CONCLUSION
• This project Pneumatic Shearing machine is very cheap as compared to hydraulic
shearing machine.
• The range of the cutting thickness can be increased by arranging a high pressure
compressor and this achene is advantageous to small sheet metal cutting industries as
they do not have rely on the expensive hydraulic shearing machine.
RESULT:
By using air pneumatic power we can increase the cutting power of sharing machine with
less man power.
