Kiva High School is a nonprofit organization that connects high school students to microfinance opportunities around the world in order to fight poverty. Students can start a Kiva High School chapter at their school to make loans to entrepreneurs, join an online community, and participate in fundraising activities. The organization aims to raise awareness of global poverty issues and empower students to make an impact through microfinance.

How does Kiva High School Work?
1.Find your local chapter or start a new one by visiting the Kiva High
School Starter-Kit.
2.Register your chapter so we can send you updates.
3.Once you have a lending team set up for your chapter, join the Kiva
High School Lending Team
4. Join the KHS online community on Facebook and Twitter.
5. As your club becomes more active, visit our Resources page for
fundraising ideas and media and discuss your club’s KHS fundraisers
and activities on the Share Ideas page on the website.
