The Kiva Fellows Program places volunteers with Microfinance Institutions worldwide to facilitate connections between lenders and entrepreneurs through loaning, work to strengthen the partnership between the Field Partner and Kiva, and act as a representative for Kiva in the field. Former fellows describe the experience as emotionally challenging but rewarding, and note that the best parts include seeing financial empowerment firsthand and meeting great people at partner organizations, while gaining an incredible learning experience and adventure.
