Workplace politics is what the employees of an office or an organization
practices to go up dragging behind the others instead of compete with them. In
one word, the bad practice that hamper the development of an organization or
office is called workplace politics.

Method
The methods of field visit about workplace politics is mainly interview. There
are various types of employee works in an office. So, some of the employees
were interviewed. For that there was a specific questionnaire. They just gave
their opinion on the basis of the question provided considering the working
environment of their office. Beside there was discussion and conversation with
the staffs.

Findings
Here below are my findings from the field-
One of the major cause of workplace politics is salary
Each and every staff of the same level wants the same attention from the
hierarchy
Not getting leave when needed is another reason for such politics
Social discrimination also cause conflict
Religion plays a vital role in this matter
To be in favor of the management people do politics in the workplace
To skip the work given people do it frequently

Analysis
From the analysis there are some reasons for what workplace politics is
inevitable. Such as-
Some people have more power than others, either through hierarchy or
some other basis of influence.
For many people, gaining promotion is important, and this can create
competition between individuals, or misalignment between the team's
objectives and those of individuals within it.
Most people care passionately about decisions at work and this encourages
political behavior as they seek to get their way.

Analysis
Decisions at work are impacted by both work-related goals and personal
factors, so there is further scope for goal conflict.
People and teams within organizations often have to compete for limited
resources; this can lead to a kind of "tribal conflict" where teams compete to
satisfy their needs and objectives, even when this is against the greater
good.

Conclusion
Workplace is the place where we spend a lot of time, to be specific one third of
our time. No matter whatever our job is, we just need such an environment that
can bring the best out of us. And for that we just need to co-operate each
others. Just keep it on mind, no matter what happens, I will help the others.
If you help others, others will help you, today or tomorrow. Digging a hole for
the others is like digging a hole for you. So, at first try to change self, others will
change automatically.
