Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) for the Installation of HDPE Fibre Optic
Ducts works for 5 – Reservoirs and 4 – Pipelines Packages. Review of
contractor’s technical submittals and RFI’s. Detection of non-conformance in
construction and manage remedial works. The project entails construction of
five potable water mega reservoirs sites and interconnecting network of large
diameter water pipelines. Each reservoirs site will ultimately comprise up to

five reservoirs, each of which will be the largest of their type in the world.
North Orbital Highway (NOH2), Doha Qatar: Working as Designer’s Site
Representative (DSR) is to ensure that the project is implemented in
accordance with the approved design. The role entails the monitoring of the
site construction activities of the contractor to ensure compliance with the
design and certify the execution of the works.
DSR’s responsibilities;
1. Issue Designer’s Site Instructions.
2. Sign off Execution and Post Execution Certificates
3. Review Method Statements prepared by contractor for works to be
carried out.
4. Check Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) prepared by contractor prior
to any work taking place.
5. Attend approx. 5% of Inspection requests and sign off on all hold
points.
6. Periodically monitor the works to check compliance with the
specification, drawings and method statements.

Residential Blocks (City Walk), Dubai: Responsible for the supervision and
management of Soil improvement by Installation of stone columns/Dynamic
Compaction and verification by zone load test, CPT, plate load test and
Pressure meter Test and all earthworks (Excavation & Backfilling).
Area 3 Doha North, Doha, Qatar: working as a designated Geotechnical
Engineer for the site works for the construction and supervision of
Embankment, Sub grade, Sub base, Aggregate base course and Asphalt
works. Was also responsible for the supervision and management of ground

Contract 2 – GEC Framework Contract for local roads and Drainage,
Qatar: Part of the team responsible for the supervision of site works. The
investigation comprised pressuremeter testing, geophysical testing,
permeability testing as well as standard laboratory testing.
PJ 20017 – Dubai Frame, Dubai: Managing the enabling works including
preliminary piles testing, excavation works and dewatering systems.
Construction and static load testing of main Piles for the Iconic Structure to be
built in Zabeel Park, Dubai.
Muharraq STP and Flow Conveyance, Bahrain: Ground investigation
supervision for onshore and offshore (Sea outfall) for proposed sewer tunnel
project located in Muharraq district of Bahrain. The contract comprises the
design of approximately 16 kilometres tunnel of Deep Gravity Sewer and
Sewerage Treatment Plant with TSE outfall. G.I consists of approximately 70
boreholes with Pressure Meter, Permeability and Geophysical testing.

2007-2008, Palazzo Versace, Dubai: Palazzo Versace Hotel will include 213
suites, a spa, restaurants, and 188 luxury villas with 80 levels of D1 tower.
Works on the project include bored cast-in-situ piles 750mm, 900mm 1.2m,
1.5m and 1.8m dia. piles, 55m deep; bored pile wall (Secant Piles) 750, 900
mm dia, 22 m deep with anchors and dewatering-deep wells.
2007, Bay Central, Marina- Dubai: Managing the enabling works including
preliminary piles testing, shoring wall with anchors and bracing system,
excavation works and dewatering system. Construction and static load testing
of main Piles for the Tower.
2007, Pentominium Tower Dubai Marina: 120 levels of luxurious penthouse
living in Dubai marina, includes 250 piles of 1.5m dia, 55m deep, Preliminary
piles testing using 'O'cell up to 13500 tons, shoring diaphragm wall 800mm
width with anchors and struts and dewatering systems, responsible for
supervision works.
2006-2007, DIFC central park-08, Dubai: Supervision of pile construction to
