Tutoring opened doors… • Became a General Psychology tutor my second semester; peer supervisor; graduate assistant, Academic Skills Specialist (Kent State University 1996-2002) • Earned B.A. in Art Education (Kent State University, 2000; Magna Cum Laude) • Earned Master’s Degree in Education (Kent State University, 2002; Curriculum & Instruction/Reading Endorsement) • Doctoral Student in Urban Education at Cleveland State University (36 hrs. completed) • Former Coordinator, then Director, of the Tutoring & Academic Success Center (Cleveland State University, 2008-2014) • Co-Author of Engaging the College Experience: How to Excel in the Classroom and Beyond (2012), Kendall Hunt • CEO, College Colleagues, 2015-present (coaching, tutoring, classes, consulting)
