This document outlines a teacher's objectives and effectiveness in achieving them. The teacher aims to make a difference in students' lives, encourage lifelong learning, and view life as a series of lessons. To achieve this, the teacher builds relationships with students, earns their trust, considers their interests, and makes learning fun. The teacher measures effectiveness by student, parent, and peer responses as well as enthusiasm and participation. Teaching is important because the teacher chose a field where their role is critical, early education lays the foundation for lifelong learning, and they want to provide students with a better experience than some teachers the author previously had.

• How the students respond to me as their teacher
• How the student’s parents respond to be as their
child’s teacher
• How enthusiastic the children are
• Participation in class
• Listening to the children talk among themselves

5. Why is teaching important to me?
• Teaching is important to be because I chose a field
where my job is most important
• Early Childhood Education is the foundation to life long
learning!
• Young children are the beginning and everything and
everyone has to start from the beginning.
• I have had some not so great teachers and I do not
want to be one of them! I want to give my students
what I did not have.
• I want to be the teacher who plants a seed of
knowledge that grows forever
