safety protection measure since
2014.
A STRONG password protects you
from potential cyber attack risk!
I would like to explain how.
3. Different Device activation methods
Via local interface
1. Before logging into the device for the first
time, the device will reminds users to set a
login password and click [OK] to proceed.
2. The Strong here represents the password
safety intensity.
3. Please set a Strong password with
combinations of Upper- & Lower-case Letters
+ Numbers + Special Characters. For example,
Alex1234Home.
4. Different Device activation methods
Via web interface
1,Front-end device from V5.3.0 and back-end
from V3.3.0 can be activated by IE or other
web browsers.
2, For IPC/PTZ from V5.3.0, DVR/NVR from
V3.3.0, there would no default password.

my password to a STRONG
one right away!
BTW, regarding a few old devices,
when users upgrade them to the
latest firmware, the former user
name & password will still be valid.
However, the device will also remind
users if it is a ‘weak’ password.
