This document discusses how failing fast and learning from failures can help people succeed more quickly. It argues that fear of failure often prevents progress, and that viewing failure as the opposite of success is a mistaken mindset. Instead, failure provides an opportunity to learn what strategies do not work and to "fail forward" towards the goal. The example is given of the author's daughter learning to ride a bicycle through repeated falls and adjustments to her technique based on what caused each fall.
