everything to do with us…

we get in life

13. EVERYTHING has the
potential to influence us

14. EVERYTHING can make a
difference in our lives

15. Allow me now to share
just 5 key areas…

16. And examples
how this is so

17. And this is certainly NOT
an exhaustive list

18. We’ll start with our
INTRA-personal
communication

19. This is what they call
our internal speak
& dialogue

20. It’s what we say to
ourselves every day

21. It’s what goes on
“in our heads”

22. One study shows women
utter an average of 20,000
words each day

23. While men speak an
average of about 7000

24. Another study claims that
the average person…

25. Has some 50,000
thoughts a day

26. Regardless of what the
actual number is…

27. The bottomline is….
it’s A LOT!!

28. And we’ll be wise to
speak well to ourselves
all the time…

29. Because words have
IMMENSE power

30. I’ll expand on
this extensively in a

31. Moving on to
the 2nd area…

32. Many of us are also
influenced by

33. What we read in the
newspapers each day

34. And by what we
watch on TV…

35. Or listen to on
the radio

36. This also includes
YouTube of course… :)

37. Because here’s
the thing…

38. If what we consume
is negative and it
gets to us…

39. It can become a
dominating thought for
quite a long while

40. And if what we consume
doesn’t build us up or
offer any real value…

41. We ought to question
ourselves and ask
“Why bother?”

42. So really…

43. If we are
parents…

44. We’ll be wise to monitor
the channels which our
children are constantly
exposed to

45. I know some families
intentionally
choose to not have TVs
in their homes

46. We are also certainly
influenced by the
books & audiobooks
we consume

47. So pay attention
to those as well

48. Next up is the
3rd area…

49. Where many of
us delight in…

50. Where some are
completely obsessed
about…

51. It’s our food

52. Now I’m definitely not
a nutritionist or a
food expert

53. But I know enough
to know that…

54. The food we consume has
the ability to affect…

55. How we think, how we
feel, our moods, etc

56. And ultimately, our
productivity

57. Elements like sugar
levels, caffeine & alcohol
come to mind

58. Let me give you a brief
and specific example

59. In my much younger days,
having coffee had little
effect on my body

60. But these days, if I were
to have a coffee in the
late afternoon or
evening…

61. It will delay my sleep by
up to 2 to 4 hours

62. Resulting in a great
productivity loss the
following day

63. Does this make
sense?

64. Great… now let’s
consider the
4th area…

65. One in which many
people are passionate
about…

66. One in which people carry
devices just to enjoy it

67. It’s the music we listen to!

MORE POWERFUL…

that causes people

to ask ourselves…

influencing me?”

103. “Does it inspire, edify
& build me up?”

very beginning…

105. EVERYTHING has the
