wystąpienie wprowadzające do bloku tematycznego "Rozwój turystyki w Polsce w perspektywie 2030" na Kongresie Turystyki Polskiej w Świdnicy 13 października 2016 r.
This document discusses some confusing English words that are similar to Spanish words but have different meanings. It provides examples of false cognates like "embarrassed" and "embarazada", where the English word means embarrassed but the Spanish word means pregnant. Other examples given are "realize" versus "realizar", "approve" versus "aprobar", "library" versus "bookstore", and "parents" versus "parientes". The document aims to help avoid mistakes by explaining the differences in meanings between similar English and Spanish words.
This document summarizes a manifesto on digital social media from a workshop held in January 2010. It discusses how digital social media are challenging existing socio-economic and political systems by enabling new forms of social interaction and user-generated content. It calls for more research, education, and public funding to address issues in this emerging area. Specifically, it identifies technological challenges around usability, content selection, interoperability, regulation, and algorithms that involve both software and human computation. The goal is to better understand the impacts of these new technologies and help societies and businesses adapt.
The document discusses the importance of family in the Catholic faith. It provides Catholic teaching on family as a sign of the Trinity and discusses how God reveals himself as a parent and fellow Christians as brothers and sisters. It then summarizes research showing that married-parent families provide the best environment for child well-being and discusses current threats to family life. Finally, it provides recommendations for making parishes more family-friendly, including family-sensitive leadership, catechetical programs, youth ministry, and outreach to families with particular needs.
The document summarizes the major events and effects of the 2000s financial crisis in the United States. It describes the dot-com bubble, 9/11 attacks, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It then explains the rise of subprime mortgages, securitization of loans, and the housing boom. As housing prices declined and mortgages defaulted, financial markets froze up. This led to bank failures like Bear Stearns and government bailouts of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and AIG. The crisis caused high unemployment, government deficits, and economic impacts around the world.

It includes tables showing the percentage of different colors that appeared in two packets, fractions and decimals representing this data, and percentages for each color. It also notes the experimental and theoretical probabilities for each color. The document features questions answered by two students, Emily and Annie, about which probability is more accurate and how they would improve the experiment. It concludes with short reflections from each student on what they learned.
Episode 1: Early technologies for making living memory explicit - Meetup sess...William Hall
This document provides a summary of early technologies for recording and sharing knowledge, including:
1) Counting and basic forms of writing developed as ways to keep records of economic transactions. Printing later allowed mass replication of written knowledge for wider dissemination.
2) Libraries and catalogs helped organize growing bodies of written knowledge, but most transmission was by hand copying, limiting access. Printing made knowledge more accessible by enabling standardized mass production of texts.
3) Emerging technologies like moveable type, paper production, and the printing press enabled new economic models for knowledge by allowing hundreds or thousands of copies instead of just one. This fueled advances like the Renaissance, Reformation, and scientific revolution by more widely sharing information.
Zarządzanie turystyką biznesową. Wybrane aspekty globalne i lokalne.Krzysztof Cieslikowski
Tendencjom globalizacji towarzyszą procesy adaptacji do warunków lokalnych.

Pozwalają one lepiej przewidywać rozmieszczenie ruchu turystycznego w czasie i w przestrzeni, a tym samym lepiej planować lokalizację inwestycji turystycznych, doskonalić ofertę, rozpoznawać nowe trendy w obszarze sposobu spędzania wolnego czasu i planowania wyjazdów.
This document discusses gamification in marketing. It defines gamification as applying game elements to non-game applications. Gamification can be used in many fields including education, human resources, marketing, sales, and healthcare. Examples of gamification include loyalty cards and discounts which are missing status and prestige elements. Gamification is useful in tourism due to digital natives' expectations of social media, geocaching, and viral effects. It discusses using gamification for hotels through challenges, levels, and sharing experiences on social media to increase engagement.

This document summarizes the findings of a study on the impact of rural tourism development on the quality of life in rural areas of Poland. The study analyzed surveys and interviews with residents in 36 villages with rural tourism industries. It found that while tourism development provided some economic benefits like job creation and infrastructure improvements, it also contributed to issues like increased land prices, overdevelopment of buildings, and threats to local agriculture. Overall, the document concludes that for rural tourism to be sustainable, it requires careful management and control of development to balance the economic, social, and environmental impacts on local communities.

This document discusses gamification in tourism and its use of social media. It defines gamification as applying game elements to non-game applications. Social media is described as internet applications that allow user-generated content sharing. The document outlines how gamification uses behaviors from games, like voluntary engagement and unique narratives, to motivate people. Game dynamics and mechanisms are explained as using points, levels, badges and other feedback to encourage challenges. An example mobile app called "Play Mazovia!" is described that allows people to earn points through tourism-related activities like visiting places, sharing photos, and inviting friends.

1. Blok tematyczny: Rozwój turystyki w Polsce w perspektywie 2030
Sesja I: Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw
turystycznych na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
2. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Grupy czynników zewnętrznych:
• uwarunkowania polityczno-prawne (krajowe i ponadnarodowe)
• wpływ otoczenia globalnego na pozycję konkurencyjną przedsiębiorstw i
regionów
• zmiany technologiczne i organizacyjne warunkujące płynność form
organizacyjnych i zanikanie granic przedsiębiorstw, branż i rynków
• pojawianie się nowych podmiotów obsługi ruchu turystycznego
(spoza „branży turystycznej”)
• zmiany społeczno-demograficzne
3. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Globalna konkurencja na rynku turystycznym dotyczy:
• przedsiębiorstw poszczególnych państw
• korporacji transnarodowych
• obszarów recepcji turystycznej (ORT)
Uwzględnić należy podmioty zorganizowane administracyjnie
(np. miasta) i słabo ustrukturyzowane (podmioty sieciowe)
4. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Synergia konkurencyjności obszarów i działających tam podmiotów:
• odzwierciedla sposób postrzegania kompleksowej oferty turystycznej
przez turystę
• uwzględnia znaczenie dóbr wolnych (np. klimat, piękno krajobrazu,
tradycje i obyczaje) i dóbr publicznych (np. infrastruktura drogowa, plaże,
zabytki architektoniczne o nieograniczonym dostępie)
• służy komercjalizacji walorów naturalnych i kulturowych
• znajduje wyraz w postaci turystycznych produktów sieciowych
5. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Kompetencje KTN jako czynnik polaryzacji rynku turystycznego:
• większe zdolności innowacyjne i organizacyjne
• zaawansowane technologicznie, nowoczesne systemy zarządzania
• najdogodniejsze miejsca w globalnym łańcuchu wartości
• skuteczne wywieranie wpływu na otoczenie (zdolność tworzenia nowych
rynków, potrzeb turystycznych i nowych produktów, wpływ na wielkość i
kierunek strumieni ruchu turystycznego, kształtowanie standardów jakości
obsługi, organizacji i zarządzania)
6. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Rekonfiguracja turystycznego łańcucha wartości:
• zmiana modelu pośrednictwa turystycznego
• pojawianie się nowych podmiotów na rynku turystycznym
• substytucja usług turystycznych przez branże pozaturystyczne
(transport, kultura, handel, rekreacja)
• nowi nabywcy, nowe oczekiwania (np. sprzedaż vs pay per use,
gospodarka współdzielenia, oczekiwania w zakresie dystrybucji informacji)
7. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Zmiana miejsca w łańcuchu wartości przebiega na dwa sposoby:
• utrata części niezależności w zamian za miejsce w łańcuchu wartości KTN
(allotment, franczyza)
• rozwój oferty i nowe propozycje tworzenia wartości
8. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Zmiana „modelu biznesowego”, czyli
wiodącej, długookresowej metody
powiększania i zyskownego wykorzystania
zasobów przedsiębiorstwa
9. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Zmiana modelu biznesowego może być wynikiem:
• nagłych zmian otoczenia (np. kryzys gospodarczy lub polityczny, przełom
technologiczny, regulacje prawne)
• powolnych, trwałych przeobrażeń rynku po stronie popytu (nowe trendy
społeczne i konsumenckie)
• zmian po stronie podaży (zmiana struktury podaży, powstawanie nowych
branż i typów przedsiębiorstw itd.)
10. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Zacieranie się granic przedsiębiorstw i branż:
• tylko outsourcing, czy już zmiana modelu zarządzania?
• czy obiekt hotelowy = przedsiębiorstwo hotelowe?
• strategia wydzielania modułu – pozbywamy się centrum kosztów,
czy centrum zysków?
• przedsiębiorstwo turystyczne z perspektywy turysty…
12. 75% podróżujących turystów rozpoczyna poszukiwania w
Internecie zanim zdecydują gdzie i jak podróżować:
• nie mają wybranego docelowego kierunku podróży
• nie mają wybranego docelowego trybu podróży

Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
16. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
Atomizacja i specjalizacja a struktura produktu turystycznego:
• produkty sieciowe jako odpowiedź na złożone potrzeby turysty
• trend DIY jako przesłanka tworzenia słabo ustrukturyzowanej oferty
sieciowej
• sieci i zrzeszenia jako środowisko transferu wiedzy
• kooperencja regionalna i branżowa
17. Wpływ zmian w otoczeniu przedsiębiorstw turystycznych
na uwarunkowania ich konkurencyjności
