The document summarizes the origin story of the Bagobo people from Mindanao. It describes how a couple named Toglai and Toglibon had two children who left and never returned. Due to drought, their other children left in pairs, settling in different areas. One couple found sugar cane on Mt. Apo that saved them, and they named their children Bagobo. The story illustrates how tribes formed and were named based on objects their founders carried with them.
The open high school program learning anywhere, anytimeAlma Epondulan
1. The Open High School Program (OHSP) aims to make education accessible to anyone through an open learning system that can take place anywhere.
2. Learners who wish to participate in OHSP take an assessment to determine their readiness for independent learning and are placed in programs accordingly, ranging from teacher-supported transition programs to fully independent study.
3. For OHSP to be successful, the program must be owned by the participating school and local community to ensure support, resources, and sustained implementation through partnerships. Rigid monitoring of learner progress is also critical to apply interventions when needed.

Distance learning allows students to learn without face-to-face contact with teachers through telecommunication technologies. It began with correspondence courses via mail but now uses online platforms like Moodle, Google Classroom, and Edmodo. These platforms allow flexible learning environments and borderless classrooms by providing features for instruction, collaboration, and accessing course content remotely. Common methods are live synchronous video sessions and asynchronous learning, which gives students flexibility to work at their own pace.
Neoliberal education in the philippines by manuelmanuel hidalgo
This document discusses the history of education in the Philippines under colonial rule. It describes how education during the Spanish colonial period aimed to pacify the native population and make them obedient to colonial authorities. The Americans later used the English language as a tool to ensure Filipinos accepted their occupation. Elite Filipinos who collaborated with the Americans were the first to receive English education and be exposed to American culture through scholarship programs. Overall, the document argues that education under colonial powers aimed to control and subjugate the native population rather than truly educate them.

Reflection for Digital Literacy Skills in the 21st Century.docxSheldonDarylToledo
The document discusses the importance of digital literacy skills in the 21st century. Literacy has evolved from simply reading and writing to include digital skills due to technological advancements. Students now need to be able to use online learning tools, social media, and understand how digital media is changing literacy. It is important for students to be digitally literate so they can safely navigate social media and online spaces. Educators must determine the best methods for teaching digital literacy skills to help students succeed in a world where technology and the internet are integral.

PANANAW AT DANAS NG MGA GURONG FILIPINO: BATAYAN SA PAGBUO NG PLAN OF ACTIONAJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: A teacher's response to teaching can be considered a risk to the learning process. Especially
when she teaches the subject matter does not her major. Because the success of learning of the students will
depends on her. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the perspective and experience of non- Filipino major
teacher who teaches Filipino subject even if it is contrary. This study identifies the strength and weakness of
teachers in the elements of teaching. In describing them, it has been determined that there is no significance
between perspective and demographic profile of teachers, except for the element of knowledge in the subject
matter that has a significance. As a result of the study, the strength in teaching of Filipino subject has been
identified, the main element of teaching has been described as the "Experienced" description: classroom
management, while the preparation of the teaching learning materials became the "Less Experienced"
description from the five main elements of teaching. The researcher suggested to implement a plan of action to
indulge awareness skills, and teacher management on a Filipino-language subject, teaching method, strategies,
and class management. Similarly, it wants to fill in the shortage of teachers with knowledge and skills in
preparing teaching learning materials, to solve the learning problems and to promote the fulfillment of the goal
of creating a teacher who is effective and innovative for the 21st century.

Pag-aaral vs. Trabaho (Isang Konseptong papel)Marvs Malinao

ABSTRACT : Teachers have an important role to play in enhancing students' learning, which is important for
their future success. Their ability to teach has a direct impact on the learning and development of their learners,
and they can make learning more engaging by selecting instructional materials that are suitable for the class. In
this paper, the researchers aim to determine what instructional materials are best for college students,
specifically for Filipino-related subjects. The researchers gathered the data in order to determine the level and
factors involved in the use of instructional materials. As a sort of quantitative research, this study documents,
calculates, and analyzes the level of use and other aspects by gathering data using a survey questionnaire. In
connection with this, it was discovered that there is a significant difference in the use of traditional and modern
instructional materials in teaching Filipino subjects. Students often used modern instructional materials because
of the factors that it makes the preparation easier in general. Based on the results, the researchers gave a
conclusion and made recommendations to further develop the study.
Kabalintunaan sa sistema ng edukasyon sa pilipinas
1.
2. Sa kabila ng pag unlad at
pagpapadali ng pag aaral nagiging
tamad naman ang mga tao. Isang
kabalintunaan sa Edukasyon ay Kung
sino pa ang mas madaling
magkakaroon ng access sa edukasyon,
siya pa ang waring nawawalan ng
pagsisikap at interes para rito. Mas
mabisa parin ang pag aaral sa paaralan
at nag kikita ang guro at mag aaral
upang mas lubos itong matuonan ng
pansin.
3. Lahat na halos ng mga
estudyante ay may laptop at
smartphones, at ang noo'y
mabibigat na libro ay naka-save na
lang sa digital na format at ang
dating mahirap na assignment ay
isang hanap na lang sa Internet.
4. Nagiging tamad naman ang mga mag
aaral sa pag gawa ng kanilang
asignatura, hindi na nahahasa ng
mabuti ang kanilang kaisipan ng dahil
sa nakaasa nalang sila sa mahahanap
nilang impormasyon galing sa internet
at nababawasan na ang kanilang oras
na ginugugol sa pag aaral dahil sa
pagtutok nila sa social media.
at depresyon.
6. Sa budget ng Deped 60% para sa sahod
ng guro at 40 % para pagpapatayo ng
paaralan. Ngunit di lingid sa ating
kaalaman na ang facility ay kulang
ganon nadin ang mga guro na
magtuturo. Facility gaya na lamang ng
classroom at mga libro para sa mag-
aaral.
9. Ang mga hindi nakapag aral ay
imposible na magkaroon ng
magandang trabaho at buhay dahil
sinasabi nila na dito nakasalalay
ang estado ng buhay ng isang tao.
Ang masama pa dito ay kapag hindi
ka nakapagtapos ng isang kurso
malabo na magkaroon ka ng
mabuting trabaho.
materials na kinakailangan upang makasabay sa daloy
bawat paaralan.
