Small cohorts which meet to discuss the academic,
social, and emotional needs and goals of our scholars.
Some topics include:
● The adolescent brain
● College & career exploration
● Study skills and time management
● Community service
● Goal-setting
8. College and Career Readiness
● Middle school years are all about exploration
● Our curriculum includes:
o Money and budgeting
o Interest surveys
o Career exploration
● Exposure to all options: including community colleges, state
colleges, and private universities.

● Participate in a “get-to-know you” interview before the
school year starts
● Attend a Junior Jets Orientation

● Check daily assignments and review weekly progress
on School Loop with their family
