                                       JOURNAL ENTRIES 9TH

Below you will find the entries corresponding to the journal for the first partial. It must be
ready on May 3, 2012. You must write down a whole page (side by side), skipping a line
and the collage must be a complete page too. No space between the pictures.

NO COPYING ALLOWED! This is free writing. You have to use your own imagination
and knowledge to write each entry. If there are signs of plagiarism, you will
immediately get a ZERO, without any appeals.

Do some research on each subject and in some cases you may be surprised to find
interesting facts. Use them to make your journal entry more vivid. Also read the search
tips to have a better idea of what you may look for.

   - Collage:Greece. Make a collage with pictures that represent ancient Greece.

   - Spartans: Growing up
Tips: Imagine you are a small boy in Sparta, and you are taken away from
your mother and the comfort of your home, to train as a soldier. Describe
       the experience!

   - Alcibiades: Selling out!
Tips: Alcibiades was a very ambitious and cunning man. Imagine you are
him, running away from Athens. What do you tell the Spartans so they can
believe that you are not an Athenian spy!

   - Alexander The Drunk
Tips: Alexander was known to be a heavy drinker. What kind of things did
he do while drunk, that you think he might have regretted the next day? Do
       some research if needed!

   - Alexander: A Human God?
Tips: He boasted he was a descendant of Achilles, and many believed him to
be. He was worshipped beyond belief. But deep inside even he knew he was
not a God. Why would he claim to be one?

   - Philosophy: Stoics and Cynics
Tips: If you were Zeno or Diogenes and you were at Plaza Lagos, how would
you feel? What would you do? What would you say to all those around?
