mise-en-scene (especially the use of masks) and genre conventions. Some very
good use of locations. Visuals work well with lyrics. Clear narrative established.
Editing:
Video is edited to beat with some good actions to beat. Good use of effects in
forest scenes.
Overall:
Excellent video which meets the conventions for a dance/indie video. Good
attention to visuals to maintain audience interest. Good meaning created –
friendship and belonging.

There is clear awareness of the industry and genre conventions. Photographs
used excellently are appropriate to the task. Creative mix of photography and art
(hand drawn elements). Excellent use of photoshop skills such as cropping and
colour manipulation. Clear branding used throughout.

There is clear awareness of the industry conventions with the addition of facebook,
Instagram, itunes and twitter icons. Excellent photoshop skills have been used in
the creation such as cropping and use of contrast. You could have added the hand
drawn elements to this to link it further with the digipak.
