Optimum Algorithm for Computing the Standardized Moments Using MATLAB 7.10(R2...Waqas Tariq
A fundamental task in many statistical analyses is to characterize the location and variability of a data set. A further characterization of the data includes skewness and kurtosis. This paper emphasizes the real time computational problem for generally the rth standardized moments and specially for both skewness and kurtosis. It has therefore been important to derive an optimum computational technique for the standardized moments. A new algorithm has been designed for the evaluation of the standardized moments. The evaluation of error analysis has been discussed. The new algorithm saved computational energy by approximately 99.95% than that of the previously published algorithms.
An Exponential Observer Design for a Class of Chaotic Systems with Exponentia...ijtsrd
In this paper, a class of generalized chaotic systems with exponential nonlinearity is studied and the state observation problem of such systems is explored. Using differential inequality with time domain analysis, a practical state observer for such generalized chaotic systems is constructed to ensure the global exponential stability of the resulting error system. Besides, the guaranteed exponential decay rate can be correctly estimated. Finally, several numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the validity, effectiveness, and correctness of the obtained result. Exponential State Observer Design for a Class of Uncertain Chaotic and Non-Ch...ijtsrd
In this paper, a class of uncertain chaotic and non-chaotic systems is firstly introduced and the state observation problem of such systems is explored. Based on the time-domain approach with integral and differential equalities, an exponential state observer for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is established to guarantee the global exponential stability of the resulting error system. Besides, the guaranteed exponential convergence rate can be calculated correctly. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to exhibit the feasibility and effectiveness of the obtained results. The issues about maneuvering target track prediction were discussed in this paper. Firstly, using Kalman filter which based on current statistical model describes the state of maneuvering target motion, thereby analyzing time range of the target maneuvering occurred. Then, predict the target trajectory in real time by the improved gray prediction model. Finally, residual test and posterior variance test model accuracy, model accuracy is accurate.
SYSTEM IDENTIFICATION USING CEREBELLAR MODEL ARITHMETIC COMPUTERTarun Kumar
The field of identification is rather complex. This complexity is due to the variety of applications, goals, conditions, etc. Exact
specifications of final aim to be attained, analysis of available precision, etc. are some of the basic requirements to guide the work. In
this paper we used CMAC look up table for identification of both linear and non-linear systems. It deals with the basic CMAC
architectures, its capability and shows the motivations why CMAC net can be used for system identification. CMAC network has
hundreds of thousands of adjustable weights that can be trained to approximate non-linearities which are not explicitly written out or
even known. Its associative memory has a built in generalization. We have shown that due to its extremely fast mapping and training
operations, it is suitable for real time applications.
APPROACHES IN USING EXPECTATIONMAXIMIZATION ALGORITHM FOR MAXIMUM LIKELIHOOD ...cscpconf
EM algorithm is popular in maximum likelihood estimation of parameters for state-space models. However, extant approaches for the realization of EM algorithm are still not able to fulfill the task of identification systems, which have external inputs and constrained parameters. In this paper, we propose new approaches for both initial guessing and MLE of the parameters of a constrained state-space model with an external input. Using weighted least square for the initial guess and the partial differentiation of the joint log-likelihood function for the EM algorithm, we estimate the parameters and compare the estimated values with the “actual” values, which are set to generate simulation data. Moreover, asymptotic variances of the estimated parameters are calculated when the sample size is large, while statistics of the estimated parameters are obtained through bootstrapping when the sample size issmall. The results demonstrate that the estimated values are close to the “actual” values.Consequently, our approaches are promising and can applied in future research.
Investigation of auto-oscilational regimes of the system by dynamic nonlinear...IJECEIAES
The paper proposes a method for the analysis and synthesis of self-oscillations in the form of a finite, predetermined number of terms of the Fourier series in systems reduced to single-loop, with one element having a nonlinear static characteristic of an arbitrary shape and a dynamic part, which is the sum of the products of coordinates and their derivatives. In this case, the nonlinearity is divided into two parts: static and dynamic nonlinearity. The solution to the problem under consideration consists of two parts. First, the parameters of self-oscillations are determined, and then the parameters of the nonlinear dynamic part of the system are synthesized. When implementing this procedure, the calculation time depends on the number of harmonics considered in the first approximation, so it is recommended to choose the minimum number of them in calculations. An algorithm for determining the self-oscillating mode of a control system with elements that have dynamic nonlinearity is proposed. The developed method for calculating self-oscillations is suitable for solving various synthesis problems. The generated system of equations can be used to synthesize the parameters of both linear and nonlinear parts. The advantage is its versatility.

Margin Parameter Variation for an Adaptive Observer to a Class of SystemsCSCJournals
In this paper, adaptive observer robustness is studies. The adaptive observer is proposed to a nonlinear system linearized by output injected for variable structure systems. Despites, the adaptive observer is suggesting to supply the parameter variation but it isn't usually verified. Unfortunately, the parameter uncertainty impact state convergence. For that a margin parameter variation is determined which the convergence of the state is guaranty. Simulation results show that the adaptive observer is robust only in the definite parameter margin variation.
This paper deals with the problem of undesired memory effects in nonlinear digital filters owing to the influence of past excitations on future outputs. The nonlinearities under consideration cover the usual types of overflow arithmetic employed in practice. Based on the Hankel norm performance, a new criterion is proposed to ensure the reduction of undesired memory effects in digital filters with overflow arithmetic. In absence of external input, the nonexistence of overflow oscillations is also confirmed by the proposed criterion. A numerical example together with simulation result showing the effectiveness of the criterion is given.

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.
Harnessing WebAssembly for Real-time Stateless Streaming PipelinesChristina Lin
Traditionally, dealing with real-time data pipelines has involved significant overhead, even for straightforward tasks like data transformation or masking. However, in this talk, we’ll venture into the dynamic realm of WebAssembly (WASM) and discover how it can revolutionize the creation of stateless streaming pipelines within a Kafka (Redpanda) broker. These pipelines are adept at managing low-latency, high-data-volume scenarios.
