Jenkins is an open source tool for continuous integration and continuous delivery. It can be used to automate testing, building, and releasing of code. The document discusses how to install Jenkins on Ubuntu, set up a Django project to work with Jenkins for testing and quality control, and best practices for using Jenkins including disk usage, distributed builds, and discarding old records. A demo of Jenkins is provided at the end.
Setting up python, and configure environment on windows platform for beginner then execute python code on web application on the browser. In this version it will bring Flask framework to show up as web application.
Github Actions enables you to create custom software development lifecycle workflows directly in your Github repository. These workflows are made out of different tasks so-called actions that can be run automatically on certain events.
FLOW3 spearheaded a move towards Git adoption within the TYPO3 project, and we are more pleased every day with the decision to turn away from Subversion and toward GIt.
In this session I explain the workflow we adopted using Git and the code review system Gerrit. I will show how it makes collaborative development more productive and improves code quality at the same time.

Best practices with git - The essentials you should know about git to use if efficiently
Workshop by Otto Kekäläinen at OpenFest 7.11.2015, Sofia, Bulagaria.
This 68 slides beast surely has something new even for seasoned git developers!
Presentation on the utility of git/GitHub for making scientific research findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.
Also includes a tutorial to the most essential features of git/GitHub.
Version control (also known as revision control, source control, or source code management) is a class of systems responsible for managing changes to computer programs, documents, large web sites, or other collections of information. Version control is a component of software configuration management. Git provides an open source option to this class of software.
We will learn how to create repository, pushing, cloning and creating branches. Additionally we will talk about various workflows that are used by teams while collaborating in a project.
Github Action is the CI/CD tool made by Github. Deeply integrated with Github features, it can not only automate deployments, but also Githu.b repository management. In this sharing I will talk about how we use Github action in LikeCoin and some issues we encountered.
This is event is all about GitHub & Hactoberfest. We talked about both of these from a beginner's perspective. One of very proficient speaker Arslan Khattak was onboard with us, having full expertise in JavaScript, PWA & GitHub. Recently announced as 3rd GitHub Campus Expert for Pakistan.
Students from different universities all over Pakistan learned how to participate in Hacktoberfest 2020.

Open-source projects often struggle with finding contributors and getting off of the ground. Communities, such as Github and PyPi, are host to redundant projects and libraries. In the development space, how do you distinguish your project from others, get people excited to contribute to it, and ultimately create a successful open source project? The answer is to apply user-centered design techniques to the development of your project. User-centered design is usually applied to web applications and products on the front-end of a website, but these techniques can be applied to open source libraries.
In this talk, Jackie will illustrate some user-centered techniques that have been used on her own project — Mesa (https://github.com/projectmesa/mesa), along with other successful open source projects. This talk will include a survey of interviews with a focus on successful techniques, along with additional user-centered design techniques that could be leveraged to inspire increased community engagement into your project.

Django ist ein in Python programmiertes Framework, dass die schnelle Entwicklung von Web-Applikationen ermöglicht. Dabei wird Wert auf sauberen Code und die Wiederverwendbarkeit von einzelnen Komponenten gelegt.
jQuery is so easy to write and therefore so easy to write poor code also. As coders are we sure that what we write can easily be digested by the web page? Lets go and see how we can easily improve performance with same code with different approach.
This presentation covers how to perform the CRUD operation of database using Django Query-set API. The topics covered includes Creating new objects, Saving changes to existing objects, Retrieving objects from DB, Deleting objects & Complex lookups with Q objects.
It's not news how even some very high profile websites have suffered from serious performance issues owing to large hits on their websites- eventually resulting in monetary loss and above all loss of valuable customers. At Mindfire, with our expert team of Load and Performance testers, we help ensure that streamlined efforts are also being aligned towards this very important aspect of development.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message

You’re doing continuous delivery when:
• Your software is deployable throughout its lifecycle
• Your team prioritizes keeping the software deployable
over working on new features
• Anybody can get fast, automated feedback on the
production readiness of their systems any time somebody
makes a change to them
• You can perform push-button deployments of any version
of the software to any environment on demand
