Jeffrey Macdonald Murder Case
Jeffrey Robert MacDonald was a U.S. Army officer and a medical doctor who was convicted in 1979 of murdering his pregnant wife and two
daughters in February 1970. The reason why I chose this case is because this murder case is said to be one of America's most enduring murder
mysteries and the main topic of a best–selling book. Not only this, but I also chose this case because it took about 9 years for Macdonald to be finally
convicted and the U.S army got involved and made their own investigation because they didn't believe his story. This meant that this case had many
twists and turns, making it a mysterious case that's very intriguing and wanting to know more about.
The Fort Bragg police arrive at the MacDonald resident in response to an emergency call from Jeffrey MacDonald in the morning of February 17,
1970 at 3;42am. What they find is insanity and murder...Colette MacDonald, Kimberley MacDonald, and Kristen MacDonald are all murdered in
their bedrooms. The scene described by first responders was "horrific". Since that day in February, MacDonald has worn two public faces, one of evil
and one of injustice.
To begin with, at the murder scene Colette MacDonald is found in the master bedroom and on the headboard of the bed is the word "PIG" written
with her own blood. Her body was violently stabbed 21 times by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He first stated that he had fallen asleep in the living room and he woke up to loud screaming. He was attacked by three men as he made his way to
the master bedroom. He said that along with the men was a woman wearing a wig and white relaxed hat and was constantly shouting : "KILL THE
PIGS... Acid is groovy". MacDonald and the three male attackers eventually created a struggle, and they attacked MacDonald with a knife, club and
ice pick. He said that he ripped his pajama top and used it as a shield to attempt to protect himself from the weapon

The Esther Johnson Murder Case
John Tyler, age 28, was shot and killed with a handgun, fired by Jeff "Ace" Johnson, on July 16th. The shooting occurred after an argument between
Jeff (age 20 and a member of the Cobras street gang) and Jerry Knight (age 22, member of the Jukers street gang and cousin of the deceased). The
accused may be convicted of either murder (the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought) or voluntary manslaughter
(the unlawful killing of a human being without malice). After reviewing all the facts of the case, I have come to the conclusion that Jeff "Ace" Johnson
is guilty of voluntary manslaughter.
Intent or aforethought is a major difference between murder and manslaughter; murder is intentional and/or planned while

Summary: The Jonbenet Murder Case
The JonBenet murder case was an unsolved case that originated in 1996. JonBenet was killed on December 26, 1996 by an unknown assailant. Her
body was found in the basement of her current residence. Although the case has never been solved, many theories support multiple ideas on how this
six–year–old girl was murdered.
JonBenet was found dead, wrapped in sheets in the basement of her home by her father John Ramsey. Patsy Ramsey (The Mother) called early in the
morning saying to the police dispatcher that her child was kidnapped. A ransom note was left on the staircase inside their home. The ransom stated that
a small foreign faction had taken their daughter, and if they wanted her back, they would have to pay $118,000 for her safe return. ... Show more content

The note said that the family must pay $118,000 for her return. This amount was the exact same amount as the bonus Mr. Ramsey received for
Christmas. This seemed strange to investigators. Why make a wealthy family who had millions of dollars only pay a percentage of that money? And
how did they know how much that bonus was? This made it seem that the crime was illustrated by close friends or maybe even a member of the
family. I believe that JonBenet was murdered by her older brother Burk Ramsey, and her parents covered up the killing to protect their child. The
evidence shows that the person who wrote the letter was highly educated, over the age of 30, and was a female. Other evidence proves that the
author knew the family extremely well. JonBenet was killed by someone she knew, if a stranger broke into the house, she would have alerted
everyone in the home and woke them up. I believe that Burk killed his sister by accident after the ate some of his food and he lost his temper. Burk
is known to have aspergers syndrome. This makes Burk over exaggerate with his emotions and display the incorrectly. JonBenet was killed by a
flashlight blow to the head that was found in the kitchen. There was a cover up to make it seem that it was strangulation. Why would the kidnappers
kill the girl when they were after money the entire

The Murder Of Simpson Case
The O.J. Simpson case was a very publicised case and is still talked about today. OJ was charged with the murder of his ex Nicole Brown Simpson
and her friend Ronald Lyle Goldman. This review will go through the investigative process, and its major elements, that was undertaken throughout
this case. It will discuss major flaws and weaknesses in the investigation and how they affected the case. It will then go on to give suggestion for
ways in which these investigative failures could have been overcome, and how these failures could be prevented in future homicide investigations
much alike this one. It will lastly discuss the role of the media in influencing the outcome of this case. This review will provide insight on this
legendary case, and overall suggest how justice could have been served, and should be served in the future.
The Arrest was the first element of the case. OJ Simpson was charged of two counts of murder, but was not arrested. He remained at large and was
considered a fugitive. When police spotted a white bronco, a car that resembled Simpsons friends car Al Cowlings, a police chase began. Simpson
was reportedly in the passenger seat with a gun. The vehicle reached Simpson 's house, that 's where police negotiations were made. Simpson
surrendered, he was arrested and sent to jail, no bail.
His plead of innocence was made shortly after this. He claimed that he did not kill Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Lyle Goldman. He claimed to be

The Liana White's Murder Case
On July 12, 2005, Liana White, wife and mother, disappeared in northern Edmonton. At 5:45 am that morning a woman called to report an
abandoned car, left open with personal effects, including Mrs. White's licence, scattered around it (Edmonton Journal, 2007, para. 2, 4). The next
day her husband, Michael White, made a public plea for his wife's return as they continued searching for her whereabouts (Harding & Shaw, 2005,
Timeline of Events, para. 3). By July 14, Michael had become a suspect and the police were all too happy when he decided to lead a search party of
his own, in the hopes that, if Michael was in fact the reason for Mrs. White's disappearance, he would lead them right to her (Edmonton Journal, 2007,
A Turning Point., para. 14).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 2000 Michael had to payout $34,000 to the government for crashing a car, two years earlier, on an Edmonton military base. Since then they have
continued to have financial troubles with $336,000 worth of outstanding debt for their two vehicles and housing mortgage (para. 10, 11). This
could have created some anger or frustration in Michael since society has an exceedingly patriarchal mindset and he may have experienced feelings
of failure, not living up to set gender roles in providing for the family. If he believed in the cultural values of male dominance, than having debt, and
for so long could have been a catalyst. Slowly, knowing that he was not performing well at providing for his family, Michael may have been
becoming increasingly dissatisfied until he finally decided to take action. It has been shown that men resort to violence as a resource to re–establish
order in situations where it has been disrupted, in a way to avoid endangering their male status (Brookman, 2005, p. 152). Similarly, it has been shown
that communities with male– dominant norms have presented higher rates of spousal assault than areas where men and woman are equal (Pozzulo,
Bennell, & Forth, 2015, p. 356). So Michael White's actions could partially be explained by him trying to regain status in his house by showing
control over his wife when he could not control their debt. It renewed his sense of power when he was losing it

Murder Case : Murder Cases Of All Time
O.J Simpson's murder case is known to be one of the most famous murder cases of all time. The case is about the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson
and Ronald Goldman being stabbed to death. The murder case was a criminal trial held at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California, the
trial lasted from November 2, 1994 to January 24, 1995. The former professional football star and actor O.J Simpson as tried on two counts of murder,
the death of his ex–wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and waiter Ronald Lyle Goldman, in June 1994. The police accumulated enough evidence indicating
Simpson's guilt in the murders and placed a warrant for his arrest. On July 22, 1994, Simpson was asked the question in the Courtroom, "How do you
plead." He followed this question with the statement, "Absolutely one hundred percent not guilty, Your Honor." On October 3, 1995 the jury's verdict
stated "We the jury in the above entitled action find the defendant, Orenthal James Simpson, not guilty of the crime of murder."
I believe that with evidence provided, O.J. Simpson should have been prosecuted. Aristotle defines "the supreme good as an activity of the rational
soul in accordance with virtue." I agree with this quote because I do not believe that O.J Simpson is a virtuous person. A virtuous person is some one
who conforms to the moral and ethical principles of life. I do not think that O.J Simpson did the moral thing in killing his ex wife and the waiter. I do
not think that the jury did the

Murders In Illinois: A Case Study
People go missing all the time and are found in just a short amount of time. But what about the people who go missing and are never found again?
Murders in Illinois are more common than not. In these four cases, the individual goes missing mysteriously and are recovered in pieces or not at
all. How does this happen? People may never know but the families will keep fighting until someone gives them an answer. Fay Rawley of
Summum, IL was a township supervisor for Woodland Township, serving on the Fulton County Board of Supervisors. He was also a wealthy farmer

Police states that Kim was last seen walking along Route 116 but never arrived to her cousin's house and was never seen again after that. One
month after her disappearance in July of 1983, her clothing and wallet were found approximately three miles from London Mills in the Spoon
River. Donald Leroy Evans claimed to be McClaskey's killer in 1993 but authorities are uncertain if Evan's statements are true. He told a reporter
that McClaskey's remains could be found in Iowa near the Quad Cities but this also has never been proven. However, skeletal remains were
discovered in Fulton County and investigators initially believed that the remains were those of McClaskey until a DNA test ruled out this theory.
Convicted murderer William Reinbold was believed to be connected to the case as well. Authorities stated that he has a history of attacking young
brunette women, just like Kimberly. Reinbold, however, has never been charged in connection with McClaskey's disappearance and is scheduled
to be released from an Illinois prison in the year of 2019 (5). Yet, in September of 2006, new DNA testing was done on the skull that was found in
Fulton County (8). This testing proved that earlier DNA testing was false and that the skull was in fact Kimberly McClaskey's. With this being said,
in August of 2007, a Fulton County coroner's jury ruled her death a homicide (8). Police reports state that Kimberly was about 5"1" weighing
around 98 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a 4 inch burn scar on her upper left thigh, a mole on the left side of her neck, and both ears
are pierced three times each. Kimberly Dawn McClaskey's case still remains unsolved

recently she bought a new broiler and need and outlet over her kitchen counter, something her husband could do. And it is right where she was

husband.
My report will show that Mr. Vermont killed his wife Vanessa Vermont in cold blood.
My first piece of evidence is the suitcase on the floor just outside the kitchen. It has flowers on it which means it is Mrs. Vermont's suitcase. As a rule
this shows Mrs. Vermont was leaving her husband. Mr. Vermont saw the suitcase, confronted Mrs. Vermont about it and killed her.

Honor Killing
An honor killing is the homicide of a member of a family by other members, due to the perpetrators' belief that the victim has brought shame or
dishonor upon the family, or has violated the principles of a community or a religion, usually for reasons such as refusing to enter an arranged marriage,
being in a relationship that is disapproved by their family, having sex outside marriage, becoming the victim of rape, dressing in ways which are
deemed inappropriate, or engaging in homosexual relations.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honor_killing)
There are many Cases of Honor killing all over the world but for me the most shocking incident was the Aarushi TalwarMurder Case. That incident
shocked the whole nation as a 16 year old girl was murdered and the most interesting part is that the blame was on her father to kill her. With this, one
more dead body was found and that was of their servant. After all this the blame was again on father that he has killed his daughter and servant as he

Partial Defense In Murder Cases
The need for partial defence in murder cases has evolved through the common law and statue, in consideration of the weaknesses of the human mind to
take control when faced with provocation and the challenges created by mental illness, which may result to serious violent. Court in England and Wales
have experienced several difficulties in defining what "intention" (human mind) is in order to establish conviction for murder (R v Molony) 1985. This
essay will therefore, discuss the need for partial defences to murder as "a buffer against the harsh effect of the mandatory life sentence for all cases of
murder" in England and Wales.

Alphabet Murder Case Essay
The lives of three young girls were taken in the city of Rochester, New York, during the 1970's. Detectives could not identify this vicious killer, who
is known as the alphabet murder. This vicious murder did not only destroyed the lives of three young girls, but also the lives of their families too. The
alphabet murder case is an interesting case for the following reasons, the history of the young girl's lives, the evidence the detectives have gathered off
the young girl's body and the killers reasoning and or emotions about when he took the young girls.
To begin with, the alphabet murder is interesting because of the history of the victims. For instance, Carmen Colon was the first victim, Carmen came
from a poor catholic family, she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The authorities never found any evidence at the crime sense of either victims. The evidence that the detectives do have is that there might be two
alphabet murders. The reason the detectives think this is because of how the young girls were found. For example, Carmen Colon was the first
victim, she went missing on the evening of November 16th, 1971. When Carmen was supposed to be getting medications in Bull's head,
Rochester, for her grandfather, she would never be seen again. Carmen found the next day and was not feed, was not clothed, sexually assaulted,
had bruises all over her body and was strangled by the killers hands. Wanda would be the next victim 17 months later, she was taken on April 2nd,
1973, when she was supposed to be getting groceries for her mother. Lastly, would be Michelle, who was taken on November 26th, 1973 on her way
home from school. Unlike Carmen, the other two girls were feed, were clothed, sexually assaulted also, had little to no bruises, and were strangled
with a belt. One important piece of evidence is that the detective suspected there could be two alphabet killers. One of those they believe could be
Carmen Colon's uncle, Miguel Colon. Detectives think this because he avoided being questioned about Carmen's death, his alibi was

like Johnny didn't know what to do! The main reason why Johnny killed bob was because Bob was telling david to drown Ponyboy. For example
Bob said " give this greaser a bath". Also Johnny was going to be drown to death next if he hadn't done anything to stop it. So for nothing to happen

Unlawful Murder Case
Answer
When taking a look at the case this particular incident would fall under the unlawful act and criminally negligent homicide. The young man made the
mistake of pointing what the thought was an unloading handgun at one of his friends then pulling the trigger and killing him. As a gun owner, it is
his responsibility to make sure that the weapon is unloaded regardless even if it was not loaded the day before. Is the question that is this an unlawful
killing? The answer would be yes. Murder is considered an unlawful act, so this would also consider murder. It could be looked at as murder with
special circumstances. However, unlawful acts are crimes that constitute both misdemeanor and felonies and that includes murder no matter if was

Eddie Leonski Murder Case

Many serial killers are diagnosed with a mental disorder and others are considered to kill without a psychological motive. People who tend to commit
crimes of injustice in the topic of murder usually have an underlying reason whether it is psychological or not. Serial Killers are in no way justified in
the case of insanity. Eddie Leonski was a murderer who tried to justify his crimes with a plea of insanity but he wasn't found clinically insane and was
hung for his crimes in 1942. Eddie is always first considered as a United States Army Soldier before he is listed as a murderer. This Soldier was a

Eventually Eddie had developed a drinking problem. On May 3, 1942 the horror story came to life when the body of Ivy Mcleod, age 40, was found
in Albourne park, Melbourne. Ivy Mcleod was found beaten and strangled to death with her clothes torn off. Eddie Leonski had no time to rape the
victim as he heard footsteps and ran off. The witness had only seen an army uniform and nothing else as he stumbled upon the scene, as he described
to the police. Investigators of the crime had known that the motive was nowhere near robbery due to Ivy Mcleod's purse and everything in it being
with her. "She stepped back into the doorway and i grabbed her. I grabbed her neck and changed the position of my hand so that the thumbs were at her
throat – and i choked her," stated Eddie. Only six days after the first victim the nightmare continued as Pauline Thompson was found her neck and
strangled to death lying on the steps of her own home. Pauline was a loved mother of two and the wife of a cop. Pauline had met Eddie Leonski in
a cafe and had left with him for drinks. Later that night she had started singing to Eddie which had seemed to trigger something in him. "She was
singing in my ear. It sounded as if she were singing for me. She had a nice voice," Eddie declared, "I grabbed her, i grabbed her. I don't know why."
The third and last victim of Eddie Leonski, Gladys Hosking, was found outside of where the soldiers were stationed on may 18, only 350 meters
away from her boarding house. All of the victims of Eddie's had been strangled and their clothes tattered. Several more women spoke up to surviving
attacks, confirmed to be committed by Eddie Leonski. Eddie had an odd obsession with women's voices and had claimed to have killed his victims to
"get to their voices." The victims of these murders were considerably older than Eddie and investigators and psychologists all linked his motivation

The motivation being that if Perry was killed, he would not be able to testify against James in court. During James' trial, the prosecution provided
two key pieces of evidence. Two witnesses testified against James, claiming that James had told them at one point about his plan to kill Perry.
Despite the two witnesses being convicted criminals, any suspicion to their honesty was cleared when they made it clear they were not gaining any
benefits to themselves by testifying. Secondly, forensics discovered three hairs in James' van. The hairs were determined to have come from Perry,
indicating that there was a struggle between the two. The evidence against James was compelling, and he was sentenced to life in prison, with no
chance of parole for 25

Unsolved Murder Case Summary
The case selected for this paper is that of the unsolved murders of a family of eight in Pike County, Ohio on April 22, 2016. Eight members of the
Rhoden family were found shot in the head, execution style, at four separate crime scenes, also found at the crime scenes were three small children; a
four–day old newborn baby, a six–month–old and a three–year–old, all three children were unharmed (Valencia, 2017). Per news reports, seven of the
eight victims were in three homes while the eighth victim was found in a fourth home with the unharmed newborn baby (Valencia, 2017). The murders
occurred during the night with all eight victims being murdered in their beds as they slept. The victims ranged in age from 16–years–old to
44–years–old and were... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Deductive reasoning draws from specific conclusions of general principles (Bartol & Bartol, 2010). Arrival at the crime scene and drawing
theories from the scene would be the initial step of deductive analysis. Forming a hypothesis from theories drawn at the scenes would follow. The
hypothesis here is; there are many aspects of this crime and unknown suspects that are obvious such as the sophistication of the attacks and the fact
that the young children were spared, this alone aligns with criminals who are experienced and have a clear method of what they do. Observation of
the multiple crime scenes and the way in which the family was killed leads to, this act of violence against this family showing as being business
related and not personal. This is based on the fact that the victims were shot execution style while sleeping in their beds (Valencia, 2017). It is
possible the marijuana grow operations are connected in some way to the killings. Due to there being more than one crime scene within close
proximity to each other, there may be multiple assailants in this crime. The hypothesis drawn in this case can only be confirmed after an arrest of a
suspect is made, this case remains

The Case And Remedies Of An Arkansas Capital Murder Case
In an Arkansas capital murder prosecution that had resulted in conviction and sentences of death based on the killing of four members of a family
defense counsel learned after the conviction had been reversed that a key prosecution witness, the defendant's son, who testified against his father
implicating him in the murders at trial, has also given prosecutors a statement in which he claimed responsibility for the crimes and exculpated his
father. Defense counsel moved to dismiss the prosecution on the ground of prosecutorial misconduct, but the Arkansas Supreme Court rejected the
prior jeopardy claim and permitting the retrial to proceed, while referring the prosecutors involved to the court's Committee on Professional Conduct for
consideration of possible ethical violations. On retrial, the defendant was again convicted, although his son did not testify against him at this
proceeding. Issues of prosecutorial misconduct in this case and remedies for misconduct are examined in this article.
INTRODUCTION: THE BILLY DALE GREEN CAPITALMURDER CASE
When Billy Dale Green was first tried and convicted of the capital murders of four members of an Arkansas family and sentenced to death in an
Arkansas circuit court in 2004, the prosecution's key witness was his son, Chad. Having pleaded guilty in return for a 20 year sentence, Chad testified
that his father had smoked methamphetamine together before his father killed the couple and their two children, apparently as a result

Kitty Genovese's Murder Case
Two weeks after Kitty Genovese's murder case. The reporter of the New York Times, Martin Gansberg, assigned a story with a shocking headline:
"Thirty–Seven Who Saw Murder Didn't Call Police." A story began with the strong description: "For more than half an hour 38 respectable,
law–abiding citizens watched a killer stalk and stab a woman in three separate attacks in Kew Gardens (Martin Gansberg)." This case had became
concerned about people's lack of concern.
Why the witnesses demonstrated a lack of reaction towards the victim's need for help? In 1968, two Social psychologists Bibb LatanГ© and John
Darley came up with a concept called "The Bystander Effect", which supposed "the presence of diffusion of responsibility" and "social influence".

The O. J. Simpson Murder Case
In the post–modern world as well as multicultural facets of criminology and justice, various correlations are involved in the process. Through
post–Marxism, postfeminism, post–affirmative and post–structuralism dimensions, multiple variables like gender, race, class and even age are
important in understanding the handling of cases in the system (Bellis, 2007). The explanations based on crime and control of the same make sense and
differences in the correlations, despite the perspectives on the school of thoughts. The famous O. J. Simpson murder case is one of the many examples
that can be used to drive the literature sense into perspective. The case was a trial held with the suspect being responsible for his ex–wife's death, as

Lunchroom Murder Case
Bang! The shot rang against the walls. The police ran into Ernie's Lunchroom and found Fannin dead. With only four suspects and only a little evidence
I have come to the conclusion that customer C killed Fannin. All evidence points to customer C. This customer was left –handed because of his table
set. Customer C has different habits than the others and that makes him stand out from the others. At the seat customer C was sitting at, they had
everything set up precisely the way a sinistral person would. They had their mug and cutlery on the left side and their napkin on the right side of the
plate. All the other table sets had their cutlery and mug on the right side and not the left. Another solid piece of evidence points to the hand–print on the
wall. The killer would have to have been left handed to have shot the gun and put his right hand against the wall. ... Show more content on

close enough to shoot Fannin. The killer had left money in the cash register alone so this wasn't a robbery, but could have been a murder of passion. In
conclusion, all evidence points to customer C. The table set and footprints all suggest that Customer C murdered Fannin. Customer C is the guiltiest.

Indirect Murder Cases
While many thousands of murder cases go unsolved every year, it is a probable assumption that the general public would most likely only be able to
name all they knew on one hand. In no particular order, the top three reoccurring would most likely be: the 1994 murder of Nicole Brown Simpson
and Ron Goldman (estranged ex–husband Orenthal James Simpson), the 2008 murder of Caylee Anthony (mother Casey Anthony), and the 1996
murder of JonBenet Ramsey (Patsy, John, and Burke Ramsey). As all of these are high–profile cold–cases, all of them have thoroughly investigated not
only by local investigators but also through the public eye, yet no charges have been filed against any party. Two of the three cases show blatant
similarities one is that two of the three happened within the first six years of life (Caylee Anthony and JonBenet Ramsey), and in these cases the
mothers were investigated more than any other possible suspect. One man has reviewed these previous cases in addition to multiple others, Stephen
Diamond, who is a clinical and forensic psychologist in Los Angeles is further reviewing the JonBenet murder from the stance of a psychologist, just
after the case has been cold for twenty years. Diamond is not writing this article to solve the crime, or even attempt to, but to offer a forensic
psychologist's viewpoint. The main ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Investigatively there is not much that can be done to solve this crime twenty years later, but what can be done is the analyzation of the family

occurred. Like a true professional, Diamond does not show any evidence of bias, and only is basing his analysis on the facts of the investigation, not on
the assumptions from the

Sarah Koenig's Murder Case
Imagine being in prison for 15 years, convicted for a murder that had extremely little physical and forensic evidence against you. This was one of the
numerous holes and facts that Sarah Koenig discusses in Serial that doesn't match up in the murder case of Hae Min Lee. On January 13th, 1999, a
seventeen year old student in Baltimore, Hae, disappears after school one afternoon. Her body was found in Leakin Park on February 9th, 1999, and
was manually strangled. Adnan Syed, her ex–boyfriend, was arrested and eventually convicted of murdering her. The unusual aspect about this murder
case is that there are many holes in the story that doesn't make sense. There is not much physical and real evidence against Adnan, although more of,

This call occurred about an hour after Hae was murdered and lasted for two minutes. When asked about this mysterious call, Adnan said that Jay
had his phone and car at that time, but thinks that Jay called or butt dialed her and left a voicemail. Yet, Jay never knew Nisha and Adnan did. Since
Nisha didn't have an answering machine, somebody had to have been talking to her in those 2 minutes. When Nisha was asked about this in trial, she
remembered getting the call in the evening. Although according to the cell records, the call came in around 3:30. This was the moment where
everybody was speculating and convinced that Adnan did it. However, Koenig and Dana Chivvis found a loophole in this whole mystery. The
loophole states if you call someone and it keeps ringing, but don't hang up within a "reasonable time," AT&T will still charge even if the call is
unanswered. This loophole actually still exists today and the supposed "unreasonable time" is thirty seconds or longer. So this call could have been, in
fact, a butt

Paul Lance Murder Case
The case is jerry murdered by paul lance may 22nd 2003. This case will be about paul how he didn't know what he was doing as he saw the "Vulture
eye". I will show you in this case how paul was insane as he killed him that night of may 22nd 2003.
He did not know what he was doing as you can see when he say's, "He loved the old man...", but it was," ...it was his eye had a eye of a vulture." As
you can see he said it for himself that he loved the old man also saying in this quote, "He had never wronged me. Never given me a insult. For his
gold I had no desire." So he's saying that he would not hurt the old man but kill the eye. But he didn't just kill jerry he waited and went into his room at
12 at midnight every night for a week.
Next the reason he is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Then he said when he killed jerry, he ripped off his limbs or his legs and arms also the head while killing jerry. "I cut off the head and the arms and
the legs." When he killed jerry you prob think he would disagree of what he did but he didn't he knew what he did because of the "Vulture eye". Also
when he killed jerry he said,"I then took up three planks from the flooring of the chamber, and deposited all between the scantlings. I then replaced the
boards so cleverly, so cunningly, that no human eye–not even his–could have detected anything wrong. There was nothing to wash out–no stain of any
kind–no blood–spot whatever."
So now you know that the reason he was killed jerry. First because he didn't know what he was doing like him laughing or killing him by cutting
every limb off. The other reason is because he wouldn't just kill the guy because he didn't like him it was because of the "vulture eye" and there
wasn't a "vulture eye" was just a eye but he didn't think so. So he had to kill him for that reason also the last reason was because he would stare at
the eye all night at 12 midnight every day for a week then he killed

The public lost trust in the police. The public lost their respect for the department because they felt that justice was not served. What cause many
citizens to question this was the fact that the same police department who were involved in the Rodney King's case were also involved in the Oj
Simpson case. Oj Simpson's defense team was known as the "Dream team". They were made up of multiple lawyers, friends and close
acquaintances. They defended him and won the case against the people of the state of California. Johnnie Cochran one of the "Dream team"
members played a major role in the outcome of this case. In an interview done on Barbara Walter's television show the lead member, Robert
Sharprio asserted that he hired Mr. Cochran because he was black. In the interview with Barbara Walters, when she asked if he hired Jhonnie

play the race card but they dealt it. On the other side, was the lead prosecutor by the name of Marcia Clark. She was ridiculed, especially by men

George Zimmerman's Murder Case Analysis
These are two different cases of murder. One is supposedly out of self–defense, and the other could have been murder with intent, or accidental. It is
unknown. Facts about the cases show that George Zimmerman's murder trial could have been pressured by the public, assumedly because he killed a
black man, Trayvon Martin. Witnesses' accounts and evidence from 911 calls support Zimmerman's claim that he shot Trayvon out of self–defense.
Autopsy reports also indicated that Trayvon was shot at a very close range. Witness accounts report that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman, beating
him up. It was later reported that he had a broken nose and cuts on the back of his head (CNN Library (b), 2016). These are evidence that aligns with
Zimmerman's story of self–defense.
The only mistake that Zimmerman committed was not following Trayvon as instructed by the police. Zimmerman had called 911 to report a
suspicious person in the neighborhood. He was then instructed not to follow the person, but he did so anyway (CNN Library (b), 2016). For one to be
charged with murder according to the State of Florida's laws, he or she must have unlawfully killed a person constituting first–degree, second–degree or
third–degree murders (The Florida Legislature, 2016). The facts show that Zimmerman had no intention of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For Zimmerman's case, the Jurors had an adequate understanding of the law and made the right decision to acquit him of murder. The media already

influence in the society. In most cases, they help determine what topics to talk about and the direction of the topic. That is why in the crimes with
widespread media coverage, the jurors, prosecutors and defendants face difficult challenges. The Jurors may develop some bias towards the victims

Joe And Murder Case Brief
Joe
Murder
The most serious offence Joe could be charged with is murder. Murder is the "unlawful killing of a human being under the Queen's Peace with malice
afterthought to kill or to cause grievous bodily harm". Murder is committed by an act or omission. In this case its an omission. An omission occurs
when the defendant had a duty to act and breached that duty. This breach must be the cause of death. The actus reus for murder is the unlawful killing of
another person in the Queen's peace and It must be satisfied that the defendant's act or omission caused the death of the victim. Karla is not a foetus,
she was not killed in a cause of self– defence nor during a time of war. In Miller, the court held that "conduct which consists of failing... Show more

If the Jury agrees, she would be convicted of manslaughter. To rely on a defense of loss of control, the defense must show that the defendant's actions
and omissions in doing or being a party to the killing resulted from actual loss of self–control the loss of self control had a qualifying trigger and that a
person of the defendant's age and sex with a normal degree of tolerance and self– restraint given defendant's circumstances might have reacted the same
way as the defendant. The first issue is of actual loss of control by the defendant. Unlike the previous law of provocation, loss of control need not be
sudden. This may beget a problem because the longer the delay between the qualifying trigger and the act of killing, the more difficult it will be to
establish actual loss of self–control. If the defendant acted for a a desire for revenge, the defence will not be available. Loss of control can not be
relied upon in cases of sexual infidelity. Although Lou gets up from the floor where she had been pushed by Mick after a short period, she goes
into the kitchen and grabs a knife stabbing Mick continuously. Lou went to Mick's house to confront him about the death of her sister. It is clear that
she did not kill Mick in a desire for revenge and that she lost control. Secondly, it is the issue of if "D's loss of self–control was attributable to D's fear
of serious violence from V against D or another person or in combination to things done and/or said to the victim which constituted circumstances
of an extremely grave character, and caused D to have a justifiable sense of being seriously wronged. "In determining whether a loss of control had
a qualifying trigger, "D's fear of serious violence is to be disregarded to the extent that it was caused by a thing which D incited to be done or said for
the purpose of providing an excuse to use violence" In essence, what this means is the qualifying

Malice Murder Case
The role of malice in determining the level of criminal homicide will have to do with if there was or was not malice aforethought involved with the
criminal homicide. Because malice distinguished murder and manslaughter, it was imperative for the courts to define that term. Framers of the Model
Penal Code considered malice to be so ill defined, that they abandoned the concept altogether in distinguishing between murder and manslaughter
(Brody and Acker, 2010).

Murder Case Summary
On October 28, 2015, in the capital court of the Harris County Criminal Courts at Law, Judge Mark Kent Ellis, who was working on a murder case
that happened in late 2013. My first experience when I had entered the court building was through the security area where I had to take all my
belongings and place it in a bin before going through the metal detector. After that, I went to the 20th floor where there were some cases that were
scheduled to begin. I entered one of the courtrooms and sat down with other students and waited for the attorneys and their clients to enter the
courtroom along with Judge Ellis. Around 9:30 AM, Hon. Judge Mark Kent Ellis entered and the case began to take place. Unlike the broadcast that I
had seen online, there was no introduction about the case, rather the attorney for the plaintiff started to ask the witness or the plaintiff about the case.

William committed a similar axe murder in Paola, Kansas just 4 days before the Villisca murders. In addition, according to detective Wilkerson, he
assumes that Mansfield was hired by Frank F. Jones to execute the Moorefamily. The quote from the Villisca Ax Murder web page emphasizes,
"According to Wilkerson's investigation, all of the murders were committed in precisely the same manner indicating the same man committed them".
This indicates that whoever committed this crime had to be linked to all the previous crimes, and Police assume the Mansfield was the suspect that

Jeffrey Macdonald Murder Case

  • 1. Jeffrey Macdonald Murder Case Jeffrey Robert MacDonald was a U.S. Army officer and a medical doctor who was convicted in 1979 of murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters in February 1970. The reason why I chose this case is because this murder case is said to be one of America's most enduring murder mysteries and the main topic of a best–selling book. Not only this, but I also chose this case because it took about 9 years for Macdonald to be finally convicted and the U.S army got involved and made their own investigation because they didn't believe his story. This meant that this case had many twists and turns, making it a mysterious case that's very intriguing and wanting to know more about. The Fort Bragg police arrive at the MacDonald resident in response to an emergency call from Jeffrey MacDonald in the morning of February 17, 1970 at 3;42am. What they find is insanity and murder...Colette MacDonald, Kimberley MacDonald, and Kristen MacDonald are all murdered in their bedrooms. The scene described by first responders was "horrific". Since that day in February, MacDonald has worn two public faces, one of evil and one of injustice. To begin with, at the murder scene Colette MacDonald is found in the master bedroom and on the headboard of the bed is the word "PIG" written with her own blood. Her body was violently stabbed 21 times by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He first stated that he had fallen asleep in the living room and he woke up to loud screaming. He was attacked by three men as he made his way to the master bedroom. He said that along with the men was a woman wearing a wig and white relaxed hat and was constantly shouting : "KILL THE PIGS... Acid is groovy". MacDonald and the three male attackers eventually created a struggle, and they attacked MacDonald with a knife, club and ice pick. He said that he ripped his pajama top and used it as a shield to attempt to protect himself from the weapon ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. The Esther Johnson Murder Case John Tyler, age 28, was shot and killed with a handgun, fired by Jeff "Ace" Johnson, on July 16th. The shooting occurred after an argument between Jeff (age 20 and a member of the Cobras street gang) and Jerry Knight (age 22, member of the Jukers street gang and cousin of the deceased). The accused may be convicted of either murder (the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought) or voluntary manslaughter (the unlawful killing of a human being without malice). After reviewing all the facts of the case, I have come to the conclusion that Jeff "Ace" Johnson is guilty of voluntary manslaughter. Intent or aforethought is a major difference between murder and manslaughter; murder is intentional and/or planned while ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The case was one of the most publicized criminal trial in American history. Simpson was acquitted after a trial that lasted over nine months which was presided over by Judge Lance Ito. Sometime after ten o 'clock on the Sunday night of June 12, 1994, it is believed that a single male entered Nicole Brown Simpson 's condo on through a back entrance. In a small, nearly enclosed area near the front gate, the man brutally slashed Nicole's neck, almost severing her from her body. The man then struggled and repeatedly stabbed Ronald Goldman. Ronald Goldman an acquaintance of Nicole 's, who had come to her condominium to return a pair of sunglasses that her mother had left earlier that evening a restaurant. • 5. Summary: The Jonbenet Murder Case The JonBenet murder case was an unsolved case that originated in 1996. JonBenet was killed on December 26, 1996 by an unknown assailant. Her body was found in the basement of her current residence. Although the case has never been solved, many theories support multiple ideas on how this six–year–old girl was murdered. JonBenet was found dead, wrapped in sheets in the basement of her home by her father John Ramsey. Patsy Ramsey (The Mother) called early in the morning saying to the police dispatcher that her child was kidnapped. A ransom note was left on the staircase inside their home. The ransom stated that a small foreign faction had taken their daughter, and if they wanted her back, they would have to pay $118,000 for her safe return. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The note said that the family must pay $118,000 for her return. This amount was the exact same amount as the bonus Mr. Ramsey received for Christmas. This seemed strange to investigators. Why make a wealthy family who had millions of dollars only pay a percentage of that money? And how did they know how much that bonus was? This made it seem that the crime was illustrated by close friends or maybe even a member of the family. I believe that JonBenet was murdered by her older brother Burk Ramsey, and her parents covered up the killing to protect their child. The evidence shows that the person who wrote the letter was highly educated, over the age of 30, and was a female. Other evidence proves that the author knew the family extremely well. JonBenet was killed by someone she knew, if a stranger broke into the house, she would have alerted everyone in the home and woke them up. I believe that Burk killed his sister by accident after the ate some of his food and he lost his temper. Burk is known to have aspergers syndrome. This makes Burk over exaggerate with his emotions and display the incorrectly. JonBenet was killed by a flashlight blow to the head that was found in the kitchen. There was a cover up to make it seem that it was strangulation. Why would the kidnappers kill the girl when they were after money the entire ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. The Murder Of Simpson Case The O.J. Simpson case was a very publicised case and is still talked about today. OJ was charged with the murder of his ex Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Lyle Goldman. This review will go through the investigative process, and its major elements, that was undertaken throughout this case. It will discuss major flaws and weaknesses in the investigation and how they affected the case. It will then go on to give suggestion for ways in which these investigative failures could have been overcome, and how these failures could be prevented in future homicide investigations much alike this one. It will lastly discuss the role of the media in influencing the outcome of this case. This review will provide insight on this legendary case, and overall suggest how justice could have been served, and should be served in the future. The Arrest was the first element of the case. OJ Simpson was charged of two counts of murder, but was not arrested. He remained at large and was considered a fugitive. When police spotted a white bronco, a car that resembled Simpsons friends car Al Cowlings, a police chase began. Simpson was reportedly in the passenger seat with a gun. The vehicle reached Simpson 's house, that 's where police negotiations were made. Simpson surrendered, he was arrested and sent to jail, no bail. His plead of innocence was made shortly after this. • 7. The Liana White's Murder Case On July 12, 2005, Liana White, wife and mother, disappeared in northern Edmonton. At 5:45 am that morning a woman called to report an abandoned car, left open with personal effects, including Mrs. White's licence, scattered around it (Edmonton Journal, 2007, para. 2, 4). The next day her husband, Michael White, made a public plea for his wife's return as they continued searching for her whereabouts (Harding & Shaw, 2005, Timeline of Events, para. 3). By July 14, Michael had become a suspect and the police were all too happy when he decided to lead a search party of his own, in the hopes that, if Michael was in fact the reason for Mrs. White's disappearance, he would lead them right to her (Edmonton Journal, 2007, A Turning Point., para. 14).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 2000 Michael had to payout $34,000 to the government for crashing a car, two years earlier, on an Edmonton military base. Since then they have continued to have financial troubles with $336,000 worth of outstanding debt for their two vehicles and housing mortgage (para. 10, 11). This could have created some anger or frustration in Michael since society has an exceedingly patriarchal mindset and he may have experienced feelings of failure, not living up to set gender roles in providing for the family. If he believed in the cultural values of male dominance, than having debt, and for so long could have been a catalyst. Slowly, knowing that he was not performing well at providing for his family, Michael may have been becoming increasingly dissatisfied until he finally decided to take action. It has been shown that men resort to violence as a resource to re–establish order in situations where it has been disrupted, in a way to avoid endangering their male status (Brookman, 2005, p. 152). Similarly, it has been shown that communities with male– dominant norms have presented higher rates of spousal assault than areas where men and woman are equal (Pozzulo, Bennell, & Forth, 2015, p. 356). So Michael White's actions could partially be explained by him trying to regain status in his house by showing control over his wife when he could not control their debt. It renewed his sense of power when he was losing it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Murder Case : Murder Cases Of All Time O.J Simpson's murder case is known to be one of the most famous murder cases of all time. The case is about the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman being stabbed to death. The murder case was a criminal trial held at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California, the trial lasted from November 2, 1994 to January 24, 1995. The former professional football star and actor O.J Simpson as tried on two counts of murder, the death of his ex–wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and waiter Ronald Lyle Goldman, in June 1994. The police accumulated enough evidence indicating Simpson's guilt in the murders and placed a warrant for his arrest. On July 22, 1994, Simpson was asked the question in the Courtroom, "How do you plead." He followed this question with the statement, "Absolutely one hundred percent not guilty, Your Honor." On October 3, 1995 the jury's verdict stated "We the jury in the above entitled action find the defendant, Orenthal James Simpson, not guilty of the crime of murder." I believe that with evidence provided, O.J. Simpson should have been prosecuted. Aristotle defines "the supreme good as an activity of the rational soul in accordance with virtue." I agree with this quote because I do not believe that O.J Simpson is a virtuous person. A virtuous person is some one who conforms to the moral and ethical principles of life. I do not think that O.J Simpson did the moral thing in killing his ex wife and the waiter. I do not think that the jury did the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Murders in Illinois are more common than not. In these four cases, the individual goes missing mysteriously and are recovered in pieces or not at all. How does this happen? Police states that Kim was last seen walking along Route 116 but never arrived to her cousin's house and was never seen again after that. One month after her disappearance in July of 1983, her clothing and wallet were found approximately three miles from London Mills in the Spoon River. Donald Leroy Evans claimed to be McClaskey's killer in 1993 but authorities are uncertain if Evan's statements are true. He told a reporter that McClaskey's remains could be found in Iowa near the Quad Cities but this also has never been proven. However, skeletal remains were discovered in Fulton County and investigators initially believed that the remains were those of McClaskey until a DNA test ruled out this theory. Convicted murderer William Reinbold was believed to be connected to the case as well. Authorities stated that he has a history of attacking young brunette women, just like Kimberly. Reinbold, however, has never been charged in connection with McClaskey's disappearance and is scheduled to be released from an Illinois prison in the year of 2019 (5). Yet, in September of 2006, new DNA testing was done on the skull that was found in Fulton County (8). This testing proved that earlier DNA testing was false and that the skull was in fact Kimberly McClaskey's. With this being said, in August of 2007, a Fulton County coroner's jury ruled her death a homicide (8). Police reports state that Kimberly was about 5"1" weighing around 98 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a 4 inch burn scar on her upper left thigh, a mole on the left side of her neck, and both ears are pierced three times each. Kimberly Dawn McClaskey's case still remains unsolved ... Partial Defense In Murder Cases The need for partial defence in murder cases has evolved through the common law and statue, in consideration of the weaknesses of the human mind to take control when faced with provocation and the challenges created by mental illness, which may result to serious violent. Court in England and Wales have experienced several difficulties in defining what "intention" (human mind) is in order to establish conviction for murder (R v Molony) 1985. This essay will therefore, discuss the need for partial defences to murder as "a buffer against the harsh effect of the mandatory life sentence for all cases of murder" in England and Wales. • 14. Alphabet Murder Case Essay The lives of three young girls were taken in the city of Rochester, New York, during the 1970's. Detectives could not identify this vicious killer, who is known as the alphabet murder. This vicious murder did not only destroyed the lives of three young girls, but also the lives of their families too. The alphabet murder case is an interesting case for the following reasons, the history of the young girl's lives, the evidence the detectives have gathered off the young girl's body and the killers reasoning and or emotions about when he took the young girls. To begin with, the alphabet murder is interesting because of the history of the victims. For instance, Carmen Colon was the first victim, Carmen came from a poor catholic family, she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The authorities never found any evidence at the crime sense of either victims. The evidence that the detectives do have is that there might be two alphabet murders. The reason the detectives think this is because of how the young girls were found. For example, Carmen Colon was the first victim, she went missing on the evening of November 16th, 1971. When Carmen was supposed to be getting medications in Bull's head, Rochester, for her grandfather, she would never be seen again. Carmen found the next day and was not feed, was not clothed, sexually assaulted, had bruises all over her body and was strangled by the killers hands. Wanda would be the next victim 17 months later, she was taken on April 2nd, 1973, when she was supposed to be getting groceries for her mother. Lastly, would be Michelle, who was taken on November 26th, 1973 on her way home from school. Unlike Carmen, the other two girls were feed, were clothed, sexually assaulted also, had little to no bruises, and were strangled with a belt. One important piece of evidence is that the detective suspected there could be two alphabet killers. One of those they believe could be Carmen Colon's uncle, Miguel Colon. On May 3, 1942 the horror story came to life when the body of Ivy Mcleod, age 40, was found in Albourne park, Melbourne. Ivy Mcleod was found beaten and strangled to death with her clothes torn off. Eddie Leonski had no time to rape the victim as he heard footsteps and ran off. The witness had only seen an army uniform and nothing else as he stumbled upon the scene, as he described to the police. Investigators of the crime had known that the motive was nowhere near robbery due to Ivy Mcleod's purse and everything in it being with her. "She stepped back into the doorway and i grabbed her. I grabbed her neck and changed the position of my hand so that the thumbs were at her throat – and i choked her," stated Eddie. Only six days after the first victim the nightmare continued as Pauline Thompson was found her neck and strangled to death lying on the steps of her own home. Pauline was a loved mother of two and the wife of a cop. Pauline had met Eddie Leonski in a cafe and had left with him for drinks. Later that night she had started singing to Eddie which had seemed to trigger something in him. "She was singing in my ear. It sounded as if she were singing for me. She had a nice voice," Eddie declared, "I grabbed her, i grabbed her. I don't know why." The third and last victim of Eddie Leonski, Gladys Hosking, was found outside of where the soldiers were stationed on may 18, only 350 meters away from her boarding house. All of the victims of Eddie's had been strangled and their clothes tattered. Several more women spoke up to surviving attacks, confirmed to be committed by Eddie Leonski. Eddie had an odd obsession with women's voices and had claimed to have killed his victims to "get to their voices." Witnesses' accounts and evidence from 911 calls support Zimmerman's claim that he shot Trayvon out of self–defense. Autopsy reports also indicated that Trayvon was shot at a very close range. Witness accounts report that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman, beating him up. It was later reported that he had a broken nose and cuts on the back of his head (CNN Library (b), 2016). The first issue is of actual loss of control by the defendant. Unlike the previous law of provocation, loss of control need not be sudden. This may beget a problem because the longer the delay between the qualifying trigger and the act of killing, the more difficult it will be to establish actual loss of self–control. If the defendant acted for a a desire for revenge, the defence will not be available. Loss of control can not be relied upon in cases of sexual infidelity. After that, I went to the 20th floor where there were some cases that were scheduled to begin. I entered one of the courtrooms and sat down with other students and waited for the attorneys and their clients to enter the courtroom along with Judge Ellis. Around 9:30 AM, Hon. Judge Mark Kent Ellis entered and the case began to take place.
