Summary
Over Twenty Five years’ experience in Air-condition and Refrigeration engineering &
technology with several years untainted service in the United States Air Force and Army,
related air bases, plus extensive HVAC experience in several leading organisations in Sri

 National Diploma in Air conditioning and Refrigeration, (NDT) and (NTC) successfully
completed of One years course (1984 to 1985) at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lank.
 Successfully Completed Transportation of Hazardous Material Course Conducted by
U.S. Air Force in Sultanate of Oman.
 Specially trained for the Ammonia Refrigeration plants.
 Successfully Completed ASE Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling program (Universal
certification Program), conducted by the United States Air Force in Sultanate of Oman

III universal, dated 07 September 2008. The certification number is 2271857 Granted
by US Army Contractor Kellogg Browns Root Company, Department CJOA Afghanistan.
 During this period i have performed Maintenance Distribution and Transmission. The
power voltage of 110 / 220 / 230 / 240 / 308 / 440 Volts and 33KVA , HVAC projects
according to ASHRAE, DIN and ISO9001, ISO14001 and modern principals of energy
efficiency. Obtain a CAC card, and Knowledge of Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC)
and their components.
 Reading and following blue print work as on there instructions.
 Carry out scheduled PMI as assigned .
 Maintenance and Repair fire alarm control systems (Electrical and Electronic)
 Testing water pressure and Fire system water lines and new installing CCTV Camera
systems.
 Preparing plans and design shop drawings using computer aided design, Carrying out
calculations & design. Attend technical meetings with clients and with the consultant.
General review with the Senior Design Engineers of other disciplines, all MEP layouts
in order to highlight any problem that might occur. Supervise and coordinate for
supply, installations of mechanical services for HVAC (Air-conditioning units &
Mechanical fans) including all trade of works. Plan and execute all installation, testing
& commissioning works through technical and operational supports.
 Support & assists in project installation, servicing & maintenance under contract basis.
Oversee site testing and commissioning procedures.
 On site quality control of piping and System Integrator (HVAC equipment /
chillers).Liaise with consultant, Vendors, HVAC technician and client on day to day
basis on project issues.
 Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of HVAC and refrigeration units,
isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas and electrical operated, an
Air-conditioning equipment and make necessary adjustments or repairs; service and
repair pejorative coolers.Repair and replace defective parts in the equipment and
their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, log switches,
damper motors, , relays, filters, controls, belts, compressors, heat exchanges, high
limit controls, pressure controls, safety valves and automatic gas valves.Operate a
variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized
in the trade and a motor vehicle; maintain equipment in effective and safe working
condition; maintain parts and tool inventory.Repair and rebuild semi hermetic
reciprocating compressors and compressors for centrifugal refrigeration
machines.Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and
alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and wiring systems as

Commissioning Refrigeration Supervisor and HVAC Foreman, I have done
Commissioning HVAC work in. US air force offices, Medical and warehouse buildings
and Workshops with military accommodations in Oman. US Army Buildings, living
quarters and airport in Afghanistan, Kandahar air base,
 Calculate buildings' BTU (British thermal unit) in accordance with the volume of
building area to determine the most suitable design required for air conditioners for
the buildings, Uses Micrometer and Calculate FMC distribution and Designing Duct
Work and coordinate with drafts man for development of drawings. Identify standard
details and development new details as required.
 Design packages in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) provide
comments on HVAC plans and identify any design changes, Calculate manpower and
materials requirements for installing HVAC systems including electrical installation.
Coordinate with maintenance work between the maintenance team and management
and advice to them. Troubleshoot electrical and Mechanical Systems. Scheduled
preventive Maintenance. Order parts for the Defective parts. Daily inspection of
