Some features in Winter ’23 will affect all users immediately after the release goes live, which are already available in your Sandbox Orgs and will be available in Production Orgs by October 15th. As we migrate over to the more powerful
automation of flow, the ability to create new
workflow rules will be blocked starting in Winter
'23. You can still activate, deactivate, and edit
existing workflow rules. For new automations,

display the right information at the right time. Over time, the page layout, or “Details”
section in Lightning pages, can become congested with fields. These fields may well
be necessary but not all the time or to all users.

If you do need to go back to using profiles,
you can simply toggle this setting off in
User Management settings.
When you create a new field, change a field type, or
use the Set Field-Level Security button on a field,
you’ll see permission sets instead of profiles in the
field creation wizard! You’ll be shown permission
sets that have CRUD access to the object you’re
creating the field on. If there are no permission sets
with CRUD access on the object you’re creating the
field on, then all permission sets will show.

are:
•Organize your work. Track and deploy the associated changes with Work Items, a new object
designed for DevOps Center and open to typical Salesforce Flows and other operations.
•Track changes automatically. Changes are tracked automatically as you make them in
development environments. View a list of changed metadata components in DevOps Center and
select the ones you want to migrate. No more sticky notes and spreadsheets to track changes, or
cumbersome interfaces to select changes. Can you say “good-bye, Change Sets”?!
•Integrate seamlessly with GitHub for source control. Even if you’ve never used source control
before, DevOps Center makes it simple to adopt. All you need to do is log in to GitHub and we
take care of the rest for you.
•Deploy changes with clicks. Visualize your deployment pipeline, then simply click to deploy
changes from one stage to the next.

Data Loader enhancements
Find the Data Loader v56 installer file from a new location
You can now download the new version of Data Loader
from https://developer.salesforce.com/tools/data-loader. The download link will still be
available on the Data Loader page in Setup.
Create custom address fields (GA)
You can now create custom address fields like the standard address fields. Custom
address fields use the State and Country picklist values.
Flow testing and debugging (GA)
In addition to all the things you can do from the Beta product introduced in the last
release, you can now create tests for scheduled paths. And, you can now package
your flow tests with your flow in a change list and package it up for deployment to
production.
