Lander Associates and Elite Leaders where we put Managers through a structured
five stage programme complete with a recognised Management qualification
accredited by Henley Management School. We also put Senior Manager’s on the
Elite Foundation where you will meet with 10 other peers bi-monthly, discuss
relevant topics and issues.
This training cost us in excess of £5,000 per manager so as you can see we are keen
to invest in the leaders within our business to ensure that we meet our specific
growth strategy.

5. Culture & Environment
Our culture is a fun, lively but mature
sales environment. We have an equal
male / female split with a strong team
spirit which sees people often go for
drinks after work, meet up at the
weekend, play football, go for team
meals with each other etc. We also
have people from a variety of
backgrounds and ages but everyone is

8. Our People
IT Ventures have presently grown to just under 20 people in the space of 3 years
across two office locations: Manchester and London.
Our medium term plan is to double this over the next 12-18 months, to grow
internationally. We plan to be established in Sydney & Singapore in 2013 and so for
ambitious Consultants and Managers the opportunity is literally a global offering.
To help us achieve our goal we have acquired some of the UK’s top Board of
Director’s these include:
John O’Sullivan – Strategic Advisor / Non-Executive Chairman
John was formerly a Director of Computer People who set up Best International in
the late 90’s; which grew to over £130m turnover in 2.5 years and eventually sold to
Spring Group. He has subsequently established Rethink which now turnsover £85m
and floated on the London Stock Exchange two years ago.
Paul Cochrane – Non-Executive Financial Director
Paul has extensive financial experience and is an expert in merger & acquisition
being involved in almost 100 of these in his career – his most recent sale was to
B&Q for £65million.
Ben Gostelow – Company Secretary
Ben’s background was as founder of Stoves, which floated after 3 years of set-up
and at its peak turned over £200m and employed 1,500 people – this was
subsequently sold to Glen Dimplex.
Shaun O’Donnell – Executive Director
Shaun has in excess of 12 years within IT Recruitment – developing into a
Permanent Manager at Senitor Associates within 3 years and managing teams up to
15 Consultants.
Shaun moved to Connectlogic where he built a Permanent team to over 10 billing
Consultants from scratch and then moved to become overall Sales Director of both
Permanent and Contract
Shaun is a co-founder of IT Ventures and is still very much hands-on, billing in excess
of £3million in his illustrious recruitment career

Our sales team has a vast amount of experience from trainee recruiter’s with first-
class honours and strong business-to-business sales experience to Consultants and
Managers with up to 10 years experience from Progressive, Computer Futures’,
Hay’s IT to name a few.
