What are the social systems in Iraq? Nearly all Iraqis are Muslims, they are divided into 2 groups, Sunni and Shi’a.  More than75% of the population are Arabs. 15 to 20 percents are Kurds. About 3% are Christians. The language that is mostly spoken is Arabic. Kurdish is also spoken a lot and Assyrian and Armenian are also spoken.
Social analysis The main problem in Iraq is the Sunni’s and the Shi’as fight against each other. Saddam Hussein was a Sunni and he was not treating the Shi’as very well.  Another social problem was the Kurds fighting with other ethnics groups like Islam and christianity.
What are the physical systems in Iraq? In Iraq there are many mountains up North, There are lots of broad plains in the South with large flooded areas. There are 2 important rivers called the Tigris and Euphrates. Their natural resources are petroleum, natural gas, phosphates and sulfur. The climate in Iraq is very hot. At the North part there are cold winters with occasionally heavy snows, there are many mountains there. In Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, it is usually very hot. Tigris River, Baghdad.
Physical analysis In Iraq, people use the Tigris and Euphrates river water for farming. Many of the farming that happens using the Tigris and Euphrates helps their economy. Another physical resource in Iraq is their oil. Their oil is very important because it helps their economy drastically.

Economy analysis The economy of Iraq was very successful. After the invasion, the economy decreased a lot. The main industry in Iraq is their oil reserves, the oil extraction decreased a lot.  Because of the oil industries decreasing, the country created other industries to help their economy like chemicals, textiles, leather etc. The oil industry started increasing the oil extraction. Another economy industry  in Iraq is their farming, the Tigris and Euphrates river helps a lot with their farming.
What are the political systems in Iraq? The government of Iraq was ruled by the Ba’ath Party and Saddam Hussein, it was a dictator ship. After Saddam Hussein was executed, the dictator ship was replaced by a very weak democracy. Now a days, the democracy system is struggling a lot because of the invasion.  Saddam Hussein
Political analysis Saddam Hussein was ruling Iraq for a very long time. He was a tyrant and he treated most people very badly. He was executed in the beginning of 2006. Now the government is a very weak democracy because of the invasion.
