IoT Home Heating Solution
A complex project launched by our team in the German market that as then expanded worldwide.
Using the most recent IoT technologies we launched a unique system that saves energy and
resources while also optimizing spending. The solution consists of hardware items installed on
heating devices and windows which are connected through a wireless network to software and
cloud back-ends manage remotely. Through the control panel users can see current temperatures,
reports, notification messages and configure heating parameters. There is a free mobile app (iOS and
Android) that goes with the software that allows the user to take control of home heating from any
place of the world.
Challenge
The main objective for this project was to bring to market an affordable, easy-to-use and effective
smart home solution. The product is easily installed and doesn’t require any maintenance – a
requirement in this case perform its more expensive rivals.
Another challenge is that it should fit requirements for both individual and corporate customers as
the solution was also created for hotels, residences and public spaces.
We also had to pay great attention to reliability and data security to provide safe way to manage
home energy 24/7 from all over the world.
Solution
A comprehensive solution was created by our engineers complete with powerful and reliable cloud
back-end configuration. It provides the safest way to exchange data with home hardware devices.
There is a personal user control panel available through a web browser that allows tracking and
management of all devices installed by the user and iOS/Android mobile applications with the same
functions.
