2. Our Project
• Our project is to build a greenhouse monitoring system that measures a
few parameters like temperature and humidity, and transmits data
through a wireless connection to AWS and an android app.
• This app receives the data and displays it using a program interface,
allowing us to remote monitor our greenhouse.
3. Solution
• Simply mount the board with the sensors in your greenhouse and
connect them to the monitoring system.
• Set the desired parameters for minimum and maximum temperatures
and humidity.
• When sensors detect values outside this range, you are alerted in your
phone right away.

• Connection: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC
• Sensors: Humidity, Temperature, etc.

8. Implementation – AWS IoT
• Receiving MQTT messages from the board, and saving them to an S3
bucket.
• We create a Thing in AWS and give it a name.
• We create a certificate for this Thing, activate it, and download it in
order to use it in Mbed OS.
• We create a policy.
• We add the certificate and the private key to the program.
• We also need to copy the endpoint and paste it in our program.
