Presentation was made at the end of July 2014 in University Federal of Minas Gerais, Belo-Horizonte, Brazil. Audience - interested brazilian students. Here is introduction and description of our usual life through the eyes of a Kyiv's citizen. Here I'm saying about history of Ukraine, about usual life, about our problems and successes, about our politicians, about revolutions, about war agains russian terrorists. Presentation took little less than 2 hours and students were satisfied enough to applause looong time:)

• Gopnik (plural gopniki, gopota, gopary) is a sub-culture native to
Russia and post-Soviet countries, characterized by squatting,
aggressive behavior, specifically towards the weak, a predilection
to the Blat criminal subculture, and abuse of alcohol

And no one was a normal person

• Was a soviet party
worker
• Started privatization
• Oligarchs era started
because of it
• Was lose president
elections in 1994
(which was organized
because of protests)
• Pro-russian

• Soviet party worker
• Let the Oligarchy become huge
• Didn’t touch Donbass, let him
be independent and controlled
by criminals
• Didn’t stop the bloody 90’s
• Implicated in the murders of
journalists and competitors

converted to nothing

With a lot of falcifications Yanukovich got more votes

People was happy. We really started
do believe in better future

cooperation with Yanukovich in 2005

slow, because he was a real coward
He decided, that it is better to don’t do
nothing than do anything.

It was the biggest mistake of ukrainian people

• Was in prison 2 times
• In word Professor made
2 mistakes
• Bring all Donbass friends
and gangs to Kiev
• All of them start to rob
the country like no one
before
• Very pro-russian

Arbuzov was a murder and stealer, became a minister of economy and
finance
Klimenko – the tax minister,
good friend of Alexander
Yanukovich

the prison

62. He was a super stupid, hard to imagine
how people was ashamed

63. Economy was fall down, the bandits in the top
started to take the last people’s money

and everyone else is a slave

poorer while greedy dictator and his
environment are richer and richer

74. After that, no one was thinking about EU
Association. Protests started everywhere

78. More then 100 people dead, a lot of
people was missing, but Yanukovich ran
away – to Rostov, Russia

79. Russia didn’t accept it
And 26 of February first Green-formed guys without
any marks just start to invade Crimea. It was a
Putin’s revenge of our victory

80. And while Ukraine was weak, in March –
they just throw a lot of military in Crimea
• Start to scare people and made a “Referendum” at gunpoint
• Only Afghanistan, Siria, Kazakhstan and Venezuela officially
confirm that Crimea is Russian territory – no one else

81. Doesn’t matter a lot of international
contracts, for ex. Budapest 1994
Ukraine gives all their nuclear weapons – unless their territory will be
untouched. Russia signed it.

82. So now, we haven’t a leader, government –
so it is a best time to eat peace of territory

83. The worst thing – Russian people think that
everything great and support Putin

84. It is empire – and Putin wants to Soviet
Union alive

85. Then they starts an operation in Donbass
– it was planned more then 5 years ago

86. They actually wanted to create Novorossia
which will be inside of Russian Federation

here lots of people and worked with
local pro-russian poor population

88. And now the DNR and LNR are seizing
Donbass cities

90. 85% of warriors are Russian citizens

Malaisyan airplane got shot from
Russian Terrorists - DNR

But looks like we
will never see
juridical statements

94. At 11 of august situation in the East going
like this

95. And we dream about peace and
stability

96. We are very similar with Russians in
general
• But for 1 year we became a fully different – and
we hate each other

97. The main conclusion: Ukrainians are
not saying that previous government
were good. We’re not sure about
current one. But we sure that Russia
can not propose anything good to us,
especially current. Russia – is a 1 city
land, all other cities – are poorest then
poorest Ukrainian city. We don’t think
that in Europe everyone will help us.
But we don’t want to have any deal
with Russia anymore in any point
