Scrum is a framework for developing products using short iterations called sprints, inspection and adaptation. The core roles are the product owner, scrum master, and team. The product owner manages the product backlog of requirements. The scrum master facilitates the team. The team is responsible for delivering increments of the product each sprint. There are three main artifacts: the product backlog, sprint backlog, and visible progress indicators. The process involves six activities: product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, retrospective, and delivery of an increment.
