To open MS Access, go to Start, All Programs, Microsoft Office, and select Microsoft Office Access. To create a database, click Blank Database, enter a name and location, and click Create. The file extension for MS Access databases is .accdb. Forms and reports can be designed by going to the Create tab and selecting Form or Report, then switching to Design View.
