From 22 Dec 2015 onwards, the new contract expiration date will be automatically updated in AD on the first
day of the new contract.
Example:
If a staff member’s existing contract expires on 31-Dec-2015, and the contract was extended in VISION until
end of 2017, the following is expected:
• Active Directory displays 1-Jan-2016 as the expiry date.
• On the expiry date (1-Jan-2016 in this example), Active Directory automatically updates the account
expiration date to end of 2017. No manual intervention is required.
