This document outlines an introduction to innovation training at the University of Cyprus (UCY). The 5-day training will include 11 lectures with speakers from academia and industry, 2 field visits including an incubator and tech company, and presentations by participants at the end. Topics will include technology transfer, entrepreneurship, innovation surveys, incubators, and opportunities in renewable energy and medical devices. The goal is for participants to understand UCY's entrepreneurship ecosystem, how to establish technology transfer offices, and sources of funding like Horizon 2020. Participants are expected to actively engage, take notes, ask questions, and present a final report and presentation with an action plan for an innovation center in their home country.

10. Expectations from you
 You will actively participate in all sections.
 You will share and teach your colleagues here and back at your institution.
 Every day we start with each of you giving a short summary (~2 minutes) of
what you learned the previous day, what was some of the most important
lessons, what are some of the things you want to learn more about, what are
things that you to discuss or want to act upon as you build the CTI?..etc……).
 Those short summaries are best to be typed and at the end you turn all of them in
(maybe a page or so in the form of a small report). This will also help you later on
with your reports and subsequent training.
