  1. Good Afternoon. Welcome to Introduction to Google AdWords for Pinoy SMEs. I am so happy that you could join us today. Just to let you all know, it will be basic we’ll just going over what google adwords is and how to get your account started. Let’s get started.
  2. There are over 40M Filipinos who are accessing internet regularly to research, to buy things, to look for ideas and opportunities, and of course to connect with each other. Internet use is set to grow exponentially. Expected to double by year 2016 and internet users will reach 66M users in the Philippines Base on this study, I can say that the importance of Internet when it comes to business will continue to grow here in the Philippines.

The country had 94.2 million mobile phone subscribers in 2011, according to the CIA World Factbook.
  5. Google AdWords. Some of you might be asking what google adwords is? Adwords is a form of Search Enigine Marketing When people search a terms, part of the results are ads These ads are shown when a person bids on those keywords You only pay when someone clicks through your ads You se the cost per click you want to pay The ads are shown on the Google Network which reaches 84% of internet users in the Philippine. -- A great way for Pinoy SME’s to meet potential clients & reach more local customers in the Philippines is through advertising in Google.
  6. I know you all have seen pages exactly like this. This is one of the main areas where your ads will show iup. As you can see at the top part are the ads part with highlighted background and as well on the side bar. These are the ads that you write they linked to your webpage, when people click through them, these what you pay for. And at the bottom here are organic listings. So how do you get here? Based on algorithm that Google has come up with. We don’t know part of the algorithm. Only Google knows. Its always changing. (panda update)

Reach -You are reaching 84% of the market share in the Philippines. -There are over 1 billion searches(80%) on Google per day. 84% Market share in the Philippines. -When people are searching for your product or service, they'll see your ad next to the search results. Cost -Its definitely low cost for a high ROI. You pay only when users clicks your ads, and your ads only show up with the words you selected for people to search for for your ads to show up for. Timing Timing is important, ads are seen fly users looking to purchase. Filipino customers are searching for reason, they are searching for “skin care clinic in quezon city” “house and lot in davao” and looking for “dentist in iloilo” and “affordable hotel in bolinao”. Whatever it is you decide to put your keywords as, Filipinos are searching for that or looking for that. It’s a great timing, you are reaching them at the right time with the right message. Flexibility Its another big one, you can start advertising quickly. You can be up and running today. You can change whatever you want whenever you want to your account, you can target ads to specific city. Measurement One of the greatest thing I love about adwords is the tracking and reporting. That you can do on a daily or hourly if you want to. That you can always optimize the account or change the account until you achieve you best ROI,
