Introduction To Blackboard
- 1. Click Login and enter your student ID number and password from the Welcome Email
- 2. This is your WELCOME Screen. The list on the right hand side is your Courses. This course has 15 papers (unit standards). The one we want you to start with is here- click the link to open the paper.
- 3. The menu on the left hand side is important- this gives you access to your all parts of the course . Open the STUDY GUIDE by double clicking.
- 4. In the STUDY GUIDE here, there are lots of links to HELP YOU get around Blackboard. Click on the blue hyperlinks to take you to each document. We suggest you start with NAVIGATION in BLACKBOARD
- 5. Click on Course Topics. This will open up the course material for the unit. Use the Scroll bar on the right to move down the page and you will see all three parts. Click on the link for 1 Elements of Customer Service
- 6. Read the Introduction, use the DISCUSSION BOARD-don’t forget if you need help, go back to the STUDY GUIDE for help using the Discussion Board. Use the BREADCUMBS at the top of the page to guide you.
- 7. Work through the rest of the content, you should be able to use your GETTING STARTED INSTRUCTIONS now. We suggest that you practice with a WARM UP WORKSHEET (go back in the study guide).
