Agile management, or agile process management, or simply agile refers to an iterative, incremental method of managing the design and build activities of engineering, information technology and other business areas that aim to provide new product or service development in a highly flexible and interactive manner; an example is its application in Scrum, an original form of agile software development.
This deck gives an overview on the following key areas.
1) Agile Development Principle
2) Scrum Framework
3) User Story Creation
4) Definition of Done
5) Agile – Retrospective
6) Development – Metrics
7) Agile vs Traditional Development Approach
Agile Software Development
Not being too attached to your initial idea of what the project will look like and to be ready for change and to refactor.
Agile software engineering combines a philosophy and a set of development guidelines.
To be agile you need to put the agile values and principles into practice.
Root Cause Analysis, The 5 Why’s, and The Fishbone DiagramInvensis Learning
Processes across industry sectors often face problems due to non-conforming parts, which eventually lead to process failure, productivity, and even rework. Even when organizations have the best of frameworks or quality controls at place, problems still persist. So, it is highly imperative to ensure problems do not reoccur and get to the root cause of the same. This is where Root Cause Analysis (RCA) comes into the picture that uses a collection of problem solving methods to get to the actual root cause of the problem.
The Role of a BA on a Scrum Team IIBA Presentation 2010scrummasternz
What is your role as a BA on a Scrum team? How do you fit in? This presentation was given to the IIBA conference in NZ in 2010 by Stephen Reed. Stephen had worked extensively as a BA and moved into using Scrum with multiple teams at a large Insurance company. This experience led to a lot of questions around what the BA should be doing on a Scrum team. This presentation goes some way to listing what worked in the teams Stephen was involved in. The BA role does not change and all the skills of a great BA are necessary still on a great Software Development team, just more focused on being a team member and utilising those skills for the Scrum process of getting working software to the customer with more focus and clarity for the user.
Increase productivity and improve the predictability of software projects. Interest in the Scrum Agile process framework is exploding as companies discover that Scrum enables them to manage software projects with greater reliability and improve responsiveness to customers. This class introduces the skills that project managers and team leaders need to perform the basic steps of a Scrum process for software development.

This is a presentation on the current state of Agile Coaching as a profession. It was used to illustrate the difference between consulting and coaching and list coaching competencies as well as Agile special focus areas. It graphically describes a possible career growth path using two complementary views. Included are lists of educational resources - tools, courses and books.
Agile software development is a group of software development methods in which requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams. It promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, continuous improvement, and encourages rapid and flexible response to change.
The Agile development model is also a type of Incremental model. Software is developed in incremental, rapid cycles. This results in small incremental releases with each release building on previous functionality. Each release is thoroughly tested to ensure software quality is maintained. It is used for time critical applications.

Mastering Agile Practices to Build High Performing TeamsAgileThought
These slides are from a talk that I gave to the Tampa Bay Agile Meetup on August 19, 2014. The talk was titled "Mastering Agile Practices to Build High Performing Teams". http://www.meetup.com/tampa-bay-agile/events/193898502/
Description:
You've read the books. You already know what your Agile team SHOULD be doing. Your Daily Standup meeting should be short and sweet. Your deployments should be automated. Your Sprint Retrospectives should inspire improvement.
So if you know what to do, why aren't you doing it?
The short answer is because Agile is hard. It takes real discipline and leadership to master even the most basic practices. Many teams have committed to adopting Agile, but they just don’t know how to get to the next level.
In this talk, I will share my real world experiences from years of coaching high performing Agile teams. I will discuss the key practices that must be mastered for a team to become great. Additionally, I will identify useful measurement techniques so that teams know if they are improving.
Benefits of Agile Software Development for Senior ManagementDavid Updike
This is a presentation to Senior and Executive Managers which is used to explain how Agile Software Development processes and practices benefit them, their organization and their customers.
This presentation explores the reasons why software projects are significantly more difficult to manage than other types of projects. Software-specific issues related to scope, resources, and time are explored, as well as how software projects differ from other projects in the physical world. An argument for why software constitutes a “Wicked Problem” is expanded, and numerous software development myths are attacked with real-world anecdotes and solutions.
In our development, we don't treat every feature the same. An emergency bug may be treated differently from a normal feature request. Whereas an innovative new feature might require multiple iterations of user feedback. So why do we develop our process to treat every feature the same?
NOTE: Yes, the slides mostly have only images. That is because the slides are from my talk from the meetup at Kanban Day, Chennai. I'm writing out the transcript for a LinkedIn article, and I'll post the link here once I'm done.
Do teams really need a backlog? Large backlogs are often wasteful -- they are difficult to groom and manage, difficult to prioritise and difficult to keep track of everything going on. By limiting WIP at the portfolio level, deferring commitment to the last responsible moment, and tracking lead times at an MMF level, we may be able to hack backlogs that are so small, that we can get rid of them altogether.
If you develop SaaS products, you know how challenging it is to convert free or trial users to paid customers. Luckily there are a few ways to improve that conversion rate. This presentation shows five ways to do that.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

7. We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and
helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
Individuals and interactions
over processes and tools
Working software
over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration
over contract negotiation
Responding to change
over following a plan
That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the
items on the left more.
