• This is where you say what you are going to
talk about. You DO NOT tell the story.
“In my essay I am going to show that, despite
many unlikeable or frustrating things,
Christopher is a likeable character. I will look
at…..”

9. Conclusion
• Sum up what you have talked about.
• How have you proven your idea?
• Leave the reader with a question.
• A good last sentence leaves your reader with
something to think about.
