Interpretation of results
- 2. + From the questionnaires in which I conducted above is the results I found to do with the age of the individuals which answered. I found out that the majority of people which answered were in the age of 16-25, this suggests that the main people which listen to radio are within the age range of 16-25.
- 3. + I found out that the majority of the people that answered my questionnaire listened to BBC Radio 1 rather than any other radio station. As my radio factual will be based on a BBC Radio 4 structure, this could effect my radio factual as people may not be intrigued. But on the other hand this could be because of the ages which answered my questionnaire.
- 4. + Above is the results in which I found from my questionnaire which is based on the gender of the individuals which answered. I found out that the stereotypical person which answered my questionnaire was female, this could suggest that the majority of people that listen to radio are female as it could relate to them more.
- 5. + I also found out that the majority of people listen to their chosen radio station mainly due to the music played as it suites their music genre. This would then improve and satisfy the audience more. A small minority of the people which answered it said that they listen to their chosen radio station due to the content such as the news and the information given.
