Interpretación geométrica de soluciones
La ecuación lineal es toda aquella que de una
forma de un polinomio de primer grado, ya que sus
incógnitas no están elevados a ninguna potencia.
Al ser incógnitas sin potencia representan una
recta en un plano, es por eso que al cruzarse con
los distintos ejes dan a ejemplificar un polinomio.
Como se observa en la imagen.

En general se buscan soluciones para los sistemas de números reales. Eso dependiendo del
posible numero de tales soluciones reales de que tenga un sistema. Estos se clasifican en
• INCOMPATIBLES (no tienen
solución)
• COMPATIBLES (tienen solución)
• DETERMINADOS (solución
única)
• INDETERMINADOS (infinitas
soluciones)
Geométria de los sistemas con dos incógnitas
Existen varios métodos para resolver los sistemas
de ecuaciones:
• Reducción
• Igualación
• Sustitución
Ejemplo de Método de reducción:
2𝑥 + 4𝑦 = −6
−2𝑥 + 𝑦 = 1
5𝑦 = −5
Donde obtenemos en estas ecuaciones que y = -1 y
sustituyendo en x + 2. es decir, que la solución del sistema es
única , con x = -1, y = -1 lo que significa que el sistema es
compatible y determinado y que las rectas se cortan en el
punto (-1, -1)

Cuando obtenemos unas incógnitas con esta representación, se
dice que el sistema no es compatible y por lo tanto las rectas no
son paralelas.
Cuando en las igualdades de las incógnitas son de 0 = 0, quiere
decir que el sistema de tiene infinitas soluciones y es compatible
indeterminado. Y las rectas están una sobre otra
