how it can help both the human resource department as well as the applicant to be a better fit for the
organization. Measures are described by which applicant can improve the personal CAP, in order to

brothers where sent to America to live with their aunt to get a better education and to flee the

academic skills which are generic in nature across the various domains of learning that encompasses

And this is also the most undervalued aspect in all educational organizations. But the impact of the
intangible skills of an individual is far more than the impact of the tangible ones. And this can be
seen from many successful people like "Abraham Lincoln (Lawyer, U.S. president, finished one
year of formal schooling, self–taught himself trigonometry, and read Blackstone on his own to
become a lawyer), Benjamin Franklin, (Inventor, scientist, author, entrepreneur, primarily home–
schooled), Frank Lloyd Wright (The most influential architect of the twentieth century. Never
attended high school), Amadeo Peter Giannini, (Multimillionaire, Founder of Bank of America,
dropped out of high school) (Toren, 2012) & so many others who either dropped out of school or
never had any formal education. "But does their success mean that academic excellence is not

required? No! What it basically shows is that a person having good personal and soft skills can
change the problems into opportunities and deal with the negatives in a more constructive and better
way." (Sharma, 2009) These are not just skills that can be acquired from a college or a school. They
are the basic life skills which help us shape & polish our outer veneer. These help to tackle difficult
situations and come out with flying

Managing A Business Or Even A Team
In the future what will it take to manage a business or even a team? How will that manager first
build his team, what assets will he have to be able to not only hire the best employee, but retain,
motivate and reward those who are highly productive and drive the company towards its vision?
How will a manager be able to do this within a down–sized environment with only half the staff yet
double the work load? This paper will look at how a manager must in the future be hands on yet
stand back and let those under him do their jobs, how the manager can with proper planning assure
not only the best get hired but compensated, rewarded and retained, all while being highly motivated
driving the company forward to attain its vision and goals. The importance of teams in most
organizations is huge, and the emphasis on being able to work and conduct business in either a local
or international setting will only become a larger factor in the future when business will be forced to
bring in specialist from the outside or various company locations to work in a team environment.
Having personal whose egos aren't bigger than the mission/vision statement or so frail that when
things go wrong they will become a distraction or a show stopper. Knowing that others bring
different views, aspects and ideas to the table, that all ideas can be used, its just finding the best idea
for that particular issue. That people working together as a team can accomplish more that if
working alone
