What is IoT?
● Machines to Machine communication: It is the ability
for machines and personal devices to communicate with
each other
● Hyper connected: Machines communicating with each
other creates an opportunity for a smart grid of devices
that increases the scope of what IoT can achieve
● Beyond the form factor: Computers and
Communication devices are not any more restricted to
look like laptops, desktops or mobile phones

5. IoT, ME AND THE INTERNSHIP
My interests in IoT:
● I look at IoT as a window of new opportunities to
transform the world we live in.
● Across all industries that IoT can cater to, my interests
are to contribute towards Health care, and in
particular to help the disabled more abled.
My Innovations:
● I often think about simple and mundane activities that
may often be a challenge for someone with physical
disability.
● Imagine a IoT hearing device for the blind that makes
them feel less so, or a Google Glass for the deaf
The Internship:
● I would like to take this internship as an opportunity to
make a difference to the physically challenged.
● As most of the consumer products are not essentially
built to cater to their needs, I would like to look for
opportunities that IoT can bring to them
