Dean Bubley, Founder of Disruptive Analysis and well known industry analyst, and Aniruddho Basu, Mavenir SVP/GM of Global Emerging Business, showcase the future of Private LTE & 5G Networks. Presentation from the "Why and How Private LTE & 5G Networks Are Rapidly Evolving for Enterprises" webinar.
Telecoms operators approaches to M2M and IoTTom Rebbeck
Telecoms operator strategies for IoT have tended to be tactical and ad hoc. Telecoms operators need to develop a sustainable long-term position with regard to the M2M market and the broader IoT opportunity.
This presentation explores the alternative approaches telecoms operators have taken to M2M/IoT and suggests what we believe is a more sustainable long term approach.
Yesterday Pierluigi Paganini, CISO Bit4Id and founder Security Affairs, presented at the ISACA Roma & OWASP Italy conference the state of the art for the Internet of Things paradigm. The presentation highlights the security and privacy issues for the Internet of Things, a technology that is changing user’s perception of the technology.
The internet of things (IoT) is the internetworking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data.

IoT Security: Problems, Challenges and SolutionsLiwei Ren任力偉
As a novel computing platform in network, IoT will bring many security challenges to enterprise networks, and create new opportunities for security industry. This talk will provide a general overview of enterprise network security problems, especially the data security, caused by IoT. After that, a few existing security technologies are evaluated as necessary elements of a holistic network security that cover IoT devices. These technologies include : (a) IoT security monitoring and control; (b) FOTA for firmware vulnerability management; (c) NetFlow based big data security analysis. In the end, the practice of standard security protocols (such as OpenIoC and IODEF) will be strongly advocated for delivering effective IoT security solutions.
By 2017 the Internet of Things market will be bigger than the PC, tablet and phone market combined. This report explains what the Internet of Things actually is and the impact it will have on social.
Internet of Things is an idea under development. It is the future connecting the Smart devices to the Internet. Interested to know more about the current developments and the future road map of this project then this presentation is for you.
This presentation gives a high level view of Internet of Things and where it stands today. It also contains a slide on how a Temperature Logger was built out using Arduino, Python and the Google Cloud Platform.
5G + AI: The Ingredients For Next Generation Wireless InnovationQualcomm Research
5G and AI are two of the most disruptive technologies the world has seen in decades. While each is individually revolutionizing industries and enabling new experiences, the combination of both 5G and AI is going to be truly transformative. Applying AI not only to the 5G network but also the device will lead to more efficient wireless communications, longer battery life and enhanced user experiences. The low latency and high capacity of 5G will also allow AI processing to be distributed amongst the device, edge cloud and central cloud, enabling flexible system solutions for a variety of use cases. At Qualcomm Technologies, we are not only working on cutting-edge research for 5G and AI, but we are also exploring their synergies to realize our vision of the future. View this presentation to learn how AI is making 5G better -- in the network and on the device, why on-device AI processing is essential, and how 5G is empowering distributed learning over wireless.
