We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
4. Students thoughts on art…. Libby (Woodland) – Why do you enjoy art? “I enjoy art because it is a fun way to express myself. I also get to use my imagination in every project.” Why is it important to have your artwork displayed?“It is important to have my artwork displayed because I like other people to see my creativity and it makes me proud to see it when I walk through the halls.” Why is art important to your school day? “Art is important to my school day because you don’t just have to sit in your desk and learn. You get to learn different kinds of techniques and again use my imagination in every project!”
5. Students thoughts on art…. Charlie (Mapleview) – Why do you enjoy art? “I can express my emotions, and it is a break in life, where I can find peace and it is just fun for me.” Why is it important to have your artwork displayed? “So that when you’re walking in the hallway and you see it, it reminds you of the talent you have, and it builds self confidence.” Why is art important to your school day? “It is a break in my school day. It is something I love to do. I don’t look forward to math, but I look forward to art.”
