Integers include whole numbers and their negative counterparts. They can be compared using the relations >, <, and = and ordered on a number line. To add integers, integers with the same sign are added by combining the absolute values and keeping the common sign, while integers with opposite signs are added by subtracting the absolute values and keeping the sign of the integer with the greater absolute value. Examples are provided to demonstrate comparing, ordering, and adding integers.
